If you trigger them and retreat immediately, you can then kill them at range without any aggro. I'm suspecting this is not intended.
I stood right in the middle of the spawn point. I didn't lose 1 percent of my HP's on anyone on my team, so it makes no difference. At least to me. But it's good to mention this, sounds like a potential exploit of sorts.
