I was doing a mission in Brell's Temple "Fire in the Hole" mission, and as I looted the items, one of the updates did not actually update (step 10). However, for Step 14, you need the item to complete that step. As you can see, I finished all the steps along the way, hoping it was just a cosmetic bug, and that it would let me finish the quest, however, it would not let me open the chest at the end and complete the mission.
It's a progression task AFAIK. It is -sort of- needed for the shawl, but really only to open the chamber door.
Ah, ok...I remember that now. I hadn't done that task when I did my shawl, so had a guildmate that had come and open a door. That must have been what I was thinking of.
