    Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I used to buy cards to pay for All Access membership. Will these cards still work?
If you previously used cash cards to purchase All Access membership, don’t fret! When you redeem these new cards at the $25 or $50 denomination, you will have the ability to either redeem for all Daybreak Cash or split the redemption between full months of All Access membership and receive the remainder in Daybreak Cash. . The new redemption page will be www.daybreakgames.com/gamecards.

Q: A store near me still has the old SOE game cards. Can I still buy those?
The former SOE game cards you might still find on retailer shelves will no longer activate on and after October 7th, 2015. This means that you will not be able to purchase the cards from the retailer who must activate the card at the register.

Q: I have old SOE game cards that I previously purchased but haven’t redeemed. Can I still use these?
If you have a SOE game card you purchased before October 7th, 2015 but have not yet redeemed it, those cards will still redeem and you will receive your DB Cash or Membership, depending upon the card.
Starting October 7th, you will not be able to purchase the older SOE cards. Any cards you had purchased before that date will still redeem.

Q: I live outside the U.S. How can I get one of these cards?
Currently, these cards will only be available in U.S. retailers. You can still purchase Daybreak Cash and membership through alternative methods. Visit www.daybreakgames.com/daybreakcash for more information!

Q: I bought a card that doesn’t feature the game I play/I can’t find a card with my game on it!
Your Daybreak Cash wallet is accessible in all Daybreak Games titles available on PC. So, for example, if you buy a card with the H1Z1 design, you can still use the cash in PlanetSide 2.

Q: I play DCUO and/or PlanetSide 2 on the PlayStation® Network. Can I use these cards?
These cards are redeemable for Daybreak Cash and/or All Access Membership, which are only available on the PC. These cards will not work on the PS3 or PS4.

Q: I have a question that isn’t answered here. Where do I go?
For more information about Daybreak Cash, visit www.daybreakgames.com/daybreakcash. For information on All Access membership, visit www.daybreakgames.com/allaccess. For game-specific questions, visit your official game forums.

    Hi Yui,

Currently, they'll be available in the U.S. only. This is answered in the FAQ:

Ah, I see. I asked because they were available at EB Games and 7-11 before they were taken out months agot.

    Thanks. Good info!

It might be good to consider a $10-15 card in the future. Some of us do in-game giveaways and contests. Lower ones allow us to give to more recipients rather than a large amount to less recipients. Maybe the $15 SOE card didn't sell as well?

Agreed. I quite liked the old $15 cards. I bought several for Leaguemates as Christmas presents and such-what. At $25, that's 3 presents instead of 5. And the budget only goes so far. :(

I'm a little confused can we use these to buy episodes or is it only month of legendary/$10 DBC?

Hi there. You cannot use these to purchase episodes. These can be redeemed for Daybreak Cash, or a combination of Daybreak Cash + All Access Membership time. These are valid on PC only; they cannot be used on the PSN. Hope that helps clarify!

My subscription ends on Oct 10th. I can check a couple places I know that still have a few of the old SOE cards & get one before the Oct. 7th deadline. Then by Oct 12th I'll check my local GameStops for the new cards. The extra DBC will be much appreciated.

Will there be any retailers offering a bonus like the old cards worked for Wal-Mart, or are there currently no plans?

But we can redeem them if we arent from the US right?

    Not at this time, no.

You should be able to redeem them from anywhere; they just won't be available to purchase in local retailers.

I'm sure the $15 cards sold extremely well compared to the other ones, as I myself and many other players I knew used to buy their subs with these cards. So now if people refuse to buy via credit card or steam, DBG rips them off another 10$ that they would not have spent otherwise. Same strategy as with every other damn bundle. Most people want only one thing that's in any bundle (1 of 3 hairstyles, the aura, you name it), but they bundle it up to make money from stuff that they normally wouldn't sell that well.

I don't see a market for this. I will be less likely to subscribe as legendary if I can't just buy a $15 monthly card-- unless the $25 card goes on sale for $15. I don't really have much use for the extra $10 in marketplace cash.

At best, this is a solution in search of a problem. At worst, it's an attempt to extract more money from paying customers.

True story.....went to my Gamestop today and out of habit grabbed an SOE card. The employee was new, so he appeared to be having trouble figuring out what was wrong and then it dawned on me......they aren't good anymore. Had to tell the employee that the cards needed to be pulled because SOE doesn't exist anymore. They must have missed the memo.

tl;dr Wanted some SC and had to settle for Steam instead. Let's get this ball rolling DBG cause I just gave my money to someone else. o_O

Good point. Although Im glad there will be gtcs at all that will be an issue for sure. Question is whether 50$ can be used to sub for 3 month- those 5$ left I would not mind. Luckily I bought a good amount of the old soe-cards a while back for ~12€ each.....

In the U.S. the cards are always nice, in some countries they're the only way to buy DB cash or a membership. Would be nice if you expanded distribution to at least cover the same places Station cards covered.
