Xbox has their own. Switch has it's own. PC and PS share servers, but are split into US and EU locations.
Would be nice if it were the industry standard but they a lot of things to consider: Corporate greed Gatekeeping Legal / system requirements Which proprietary network would be used Budgets Some players actually don't want crossplay without an option to disable it completely And about 4378 other things...
