Does anyone have the damage boost that ZOE will give in close range and the damage taken across the certification levels? I have seen a few posts claim that the damage bonus is 10% extra damage given close range only on all cert levels, while the the level 5 ZOE is still 30% more damage taken. Is that correct?
You still get a speed boost, which more than makes up for any extra damage taken by the ability to dodge rockets, bullets and C4 much easier.
Can I point out that the idea of an ability is to be activated when you think it will be helpful and not just a button you should press in every single (fine almost every) engagement. You get movespeed on demand whenever you don't think you will be receiving damage. I imagine that that would be at least as useful as shield or lockdown. Old ZOE wasn't an ability, it was a stat increase. It simply gave VS a superior max (having the best AI gun didn't help either). That said, the nerfs I am hearing do sound pretty hard. Whether it is too far or not is unclear because that max is such a joke on live atm. Pretty sure 2 blueshifts have a TTK which is less than the refire on an NC max, as well as an effective range of about 50m on the move. That's not even touching comets (which at least have fractures to contend with).
