You guys don't cap bases, you farm zergs or fly around in your liberators, picking off strays.
  5. Genserik

Do you think they hack as well?
  6. PinkamenaDianePie

Capping bases is boring as hell. Most of us don't enjoy sitting around, locking a spawn, and twiddling our thumbs waiting for a capture bar to fill before we can roll out and wait for the next base to flip.

We respond to where the fight is, we have our fun, and when it's over we redeploy out to find more without sitting around waiting for points.

What would be the point of us capping bases if we're losing everything we already own? We leave the mindless work to the zergs that enjoy that sort of thing, and our defenses enable them to get out there and do their jobs without having to worry about doubling back or splitting.

If your zergs are getting farmed by our single squad, there's really not much I can say to help you out.

I really don't understand why you guys let us do this. We really shouldn't be able to get away with it. Our libs fly without escort the vast majority of the time; they should be easy kills for smart pilots who know better than to engage point blank against a dalton.

We only even have 2 real dedicated libs. It's hilarious how notorious they become when Nevesnet is making everyone look really stupid.

Your recruitment statement says you want to get in to the competition aspect of PS2. I could be wrong, but I think tower stomping all day and farming certs doesn't win. (Totally agree with the lib statement. Not enough people on NC use AA)
  8. CrazyMike

I think they put a lot of money into PS2.

Live server play has pretty much nothing to do with the competitive game. We're more than happy to attack, and indeed need to, in a proper competitive environment. If the enemy is an organized team with even numbers who make it interesting for us, attacking can be a lot of fun. This doesn't happen on live. With NUC and TiW essentially gone, the only challenge that's offered is when we have to attack an enemy force 3-4 times our size. That's not engaging gameplay from my perspective.

In all of our comp matches and scrims, anyone who's played against us can tell you that we're extremely aggressive.

Live server play has as much to do with comp play as driving on public roads has to do with Formula 1 racing. They're just different beasts, and they play at different speeds.

We do our part on live even though we're looked down on for not being the heroes at the front of the charge. We can generally only field one squad at any given moment, so we have to know how to apply our pressure where it's needed rather than just bolstering the *********** at the front.

Are you saying that ZAPS is a pay 2 win outfit?
  11. chrisbeebops

We paid good money for our current spandex!
  12. Genserik

It's not doing you justice. You guys are fat.

    Edit: According to Jock

I'll send you a pic of myself, just give me the pose you want? Double bi? Lat spread? Take your pick.

Oh god. I want a merkin pic.

All I know is when I see a [ZAPS] tag on my screen I poop myself a little because I know a fight and probably some craziness is in order very soon.
  16. Monkeydmomo

    Hand me your number.

I don't know where you got the bolded information, but I understand your point. TIW is alive and well and I'm sure we'd love to setup a scrim sometime (and hopefully soon).
  19. Dagonlives

Except ZAPS didn't show up to the scrimm our outfit asked and waited for. I suppose it's a trend.

I was never informed of a scrim with you guys. Who did you talk to about this?
