I think SOE only went into PS4 because they were Sony at the time. Now that it's DBG and they aren't Sony, I'm not sure what their motivation is to really develop further Planetside 2 for PS4. We haven't seen a PS4 Game Update since March, there are still a number of features PC has that PS4 does not, and they even got rid of the PS4 Gameplay Discussion section.

DBG has a fairly small current PS2 Dev Team, and they've already announced they are currently working on pushing even more new content for PC. Not to mention any chance of starting PS4 on Xbox. Or conscripting PS2 Dev Team to help work on crunch for any other DBG games. I'm not sure where what their plans are in terms of when they'll want to put Dev time on PS4 to get it caught up to PC, especially on a major Feature like Construction.

there is a chance PSN is not profitable enough for further investments and all of the devs time go to PC

the PC community predicted this and tried to warn DBG about this before the release of the PSN platform
all off there time went to PSN neglecting the PC platform thinking the PSN would be the new golden cow
now they lost half of there PC players and trying to save the one thing they never should have neglected

let us hope they don't forget about the PSN players cause they can't keep this game alive now with only one platform
neglecting the PSN players would be repeating the same mistake again

I have no idea what DBG's plan is.

I hope they can keep the PS4 version updated and in sync with PC. I hope that they can work out the Dev Process on PS4 such that it becomes easier and easier to add the PC changes to PS4. I have never worked on a console port, I have no idea what Columbus Nova wants to do.

We typically don't get much feedback from DBG on their plans, but that has changed some lately. Hopefully they communicate where they are on content for the PS4 soon.

On one day, an NC player who are known for posting s****** montages vids on ps4 sub-forum were minding around, then, the news of ANT has arrived and seen the footage of gameplay, he immediately open the game on ps4 and quickly recognized that it isn't in the game and he was sad that it's only on PC, so he thought, " maybe I should continue to play War Thunder" The End.
