XP boost refund after login problems most of the weekend?

    Since Thursday I have been able to play about 50% of the time I have wanted to play because of this problem that many many other players have faced with the terminals not working, unable to chat, unable to interact with anything/anyone then 'you have been disconnected by the server'.
    It looks like it was just the EU servers that were affected and some people seem to have been unaffected, but many have been affected.
    Here's the thing:
    I had intended to hammer the game this weekend to get to BR98 so renewed my membership and equipped a boost to get the 100% XP boost from it. Including Thursday night (UK time) this is now day no.5 of connection issues that has seen me playing for possibly half of the time I intended over the past few days.

    I've opened a ticket to see if I can get a 3 day XP boost to make up for it which I think is a very fair ask, what does anyone else think? Am I asking a lot considering the issues?

    I'll post here when I get the condescending copy/paste response from my ticket. And I'm betting the response will be about the login issues or the fact that I'm in EU and won't even address the lost boost time...

    This is pretty much exactly what happened to me, i intended to play with a 3 day boost to get to at least 95 but with all the lag and connection issues its been unplayable this weekend, so i pretty much wasted a boost.

    You'd have a lot stronger case if you had screenshots of your G30s time stamped with which to argue your case and to defeat the "Our logs show nothing" but on the face of it and all the threads of the same ilk about here you're not asking anything too much.

    I got bored with doing this after screenie 100 ;)

    Well as I said above I will update this thread when I get the condescending copy/paste response from customer support.
    Well Here it is, and it's a beauty...
    They completely ignored most of my ticket and just responded by copy/pasting the stock answer as if it was a connection issue I alone am having that should be fixed at my end. Like there aren't hundreds of people who got affected by something SONY or PROSEBIEN did on Thursday night.
    Is this kind of carp because they are understaffed and over-worked or are they purposely trying to avoid the issue??

    I’ll need you to create the following two diagnostic files so I can take a closer look for any potential hardware and software issues:

    DxDiag.txt
    MSinfo.txt

    To create the files on your hard drive, please follow these instructions:

    DxDiag.txt
    - Press and hold the Windows key and tap the R key on your keyboard.
    - In the box that pops up type DXDIAG and press Enter on your keyboard.
    - Click the "Save all Information" button, located at the bottom of the program window.
    - In the "Save As" box click the icon in the top bar.
    - Select the desktop and save the file as "dxdiag.txt"

    MSinfo.txt
    - Press and hold the Windows key and tap the R key on your keyboard again.
    - In the box that pops up type MSINFO32 and press Enter on your keyboard.
    - Click on the "File" menu and choose "Export..."
    - Select the desktop and save the file as "MSInfo.txt"

    Once you have the files please attach them to the support ticket and response so our agents can continue troubleshooting your issue.

    - Who is your ISP ?
    - Physical location (City, State, Country) ?
    - What is the make & model of your modem ?
    and router (if separate) ?
    - Type of connection (Wireless/Wired) ?
    - DSL, Cable or Fiber ?
    - Download and upload speeds (ping, dl, ul; can check this by going to http://speedtest.net/ ) ?

    Crashing Information:
    - Where were you inside the game when you crashed?
    - What was happening when you crashed (Zoning, Opening a UI, Playing a cutscene movie, etc.)?
    - List the steps to reproduce the crash:

    I'll need you to follow these instructions to create a diagnostic file that will help determine the quality of your connection to our servers:

    1. Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories, right-click the Command Prompt and select "Run as administrator"
    Windows 8 - Press the WINDOWS and X keys together and then click on Command Prompt (Admin). Click Yes to the User Account Control message that appears.

    2. Copy and paste the below commands into your command prompt. You can paste into your command prompt by right clicking and selecting paste.

    ipconfig /all > c:\netinfo.txt
    tracert lp.soe.com >> c:\netinfo.txt
    pathping lp.soe.com >> c:\netinfo.txt

    These commands will not output to the command prompt, they will create a file named c:\netinfo.txt

    Make sure to run each command one at a time. Because you are outputting to a file, it will appear as though nothing is happening for a while, especially on the second and third commands. Make sure you wait for the cursor to pop up again and allow you to type before proceeding to the next step. Once complete, please attach the file c:\netinfo.txt to this ticket.
