The game, once opened via desktop icon, brings up a regular screen, which loads quickly. I click play and the game will launch and load to 94% then become unresponsive. I've tried many times to shut off the game by way of task manager even but it will not close. The only way I get it to leave full screen is by putting my computer to sleep and it just freezes my computer screen and, as stated before, task manager can't close it. I am on a steam client. I've had to force log off and restart my computer numerous times. There are no error codes and I have waited for over an hour for it to load, unsuccessfully. Please Help! -JC
Check your firewalls and antivirus programs. Make sure they have Ps2 ini and exe files set as exceptions. If you continue to have problems, please submit a support ticket with both your Dxdiag and Msinfo. We will be able to assist you from there.
I have a same like problem, I open the game, n problem and when it gets to 94% it closes. Like really, closes, no error codes, no warnings, just closes!
Wow, such a ****** canned response. My current and former outfit are both trying to log in and no one can log in. That's 40+ people from different regions, computer specs etc. It's your servers, not him. Before you start telling him what to do at least verify your servers are up and working.
At first it was loading the game but none of characters available, just the screen to create a character as if i was a new player. Then shortly after it became the same as you guys saw 94% loaded then ummmmm .... ummmm.... ????? oooohmmm ooooohmmmmm oooooohmmmmm... Wow man, I think I'm moving toward enlightenment... TY Planetside2. BANG <CRASH TO DESKTOP> Enlightenment .ini not saved on wetware or hardware. Too bad, try again. That will be... TWO DOLLARS AND... FIFTY CENTS... PLEASE.
Same BS here... load to 94% and then crash to desktop... really makes me want to renew my membership =)
How about checking the post date before lashing out at someone? The thread is from 2013, including your quoted part. Or to put it in your words "Before you start telling him what to do at least verify your reply makes sense." :^)
So i'm guessing there was only the one response by Tech support? No actual fix yet, or hey guys we are looking into it right now?
just applied new patch and now i am in the same boat as everyone else it seems. load to 94% hear music and then desktop.
