probably why his own team killed him
and now that you mention it yeah...it is pretty obvious...though usually the no recoil hacks are used on the NC side for the damage for accuracy/kick trade
  2. Karki

second third and forth time he allowed the guy to start the fight it was his legitimate attempt to see whether he was hacking or not and far less than just revenge

though yeah...revenge really was a part of it XD and it is so good to kill hackers....its like one of the funnest bits of justice XD

Orion doesnt have 75 ammo per clip.
    LSW cant have a compensator.
Flare doesnt have that fire rate so the only weapon left is the SVA-88.

One thing in the video that I thought was odd was at 0:57, he is shooting a guy thats really close but then for some reason is putting shots into another target that JUST comes around the corner... the shots are pretty much hitting him the ms he is visible.

Seems odd that for someone that has so good control over the recoil to suddenly flick the aim completely off his target like that.

    Thats my 2 certs.

My sarcasm meter might be broken but you can clearly see his HP/shield bar is using the old style which makes the video way out of date.

This is why elitism (Tryhard activity or Regardus One Selfus Is Actually Badus) and hacking (False sense of skill) should be eliminated from our lives. Games were made to have fun, be casual, have a good time. But some people decided to change video games into competitive arenas where they think they're actually doing something useful.

At that range it is really hard to pick up recoil when it is actually being controlled. You can even get to the point where the tiny dips from left to right can be compensated for at such close ranges because of the way you track the head hit box.

As for CoF, listen really carefully how often he burst fires. Watch when he shoots the guy off the turret, I don't think he fires more than 4 rounds per burst which gives him a negligible CoF at that range.

At around 1 minute where he jumps targets, if that was me I'd say he probably thought he put enough bullets into the target and moved on to the next. Something else that will cause it is the XP reward sound. I know when I'm facing 3+ v. 1's I will pull off targets quicker by going from the XP audio cue because it happens faster than the death animation. Unfortunately, if an assist XP comes in, that sometimes means I pull off early.

There's several issues that continue to stand out though. For example, even when firing bursts it takes a bit of time for CoF to reset. If someone very rapidly fired single-shots on a Gauss Saw for example, they would still gain CoF even though the Saw's initial CoF is zero. The second time he shot the turret (when he was further out) casts suspicion, since either the RNG absolutely loves him or he isn't even getting the minimum CoF. Occam's Razor dictates the latter, since the RNG is nobody's friend.

There's also the fact that he continues performing the "bot dance" when his targets are obscured by the crates or nearby walls, ie he's making target-acquisition movements when his targets are obscured. People usually don't do this (mostly because they can't see through walls), but it's a common flaw in bots.

This kind of stuff tends to be more obvious in replays with free-floating cameras though, since you can see it from multiple angles. Overhead views are especially useful for seeing how they continue to snap to targets that they shouldn't be able to see.

This is an example from another game of how the "bot dance" looks in third-person (also for bonus points, that gun he's using has a five round magazine: watch him not reload). Though of course since he has way more targets at much longer range, it's far more obvious because he has to traverse a wider angle. Automated detection may always struggle to keep up with the latest exploit, but it's amazing what a human eyeball can do with some replay footage and the ability to pull screen shots from the suspect's computer.

Humans typically don't aim like that, they usually drift around a bit while acquiring targets and their movements are more organic less snappy, so if you see a teammate doing the dance, tossing out a /report just to be safe is probably a good idea.

    Devs claim now it's harassment.

We used to rip them up on forums, especially established cheater clans (yeah, they even brag that they cheat, some even posted their exploits). Now if you do they cry foul and you're in trouble for being a "bully" (funny considering how they smack talk in game when they cheat, huh?).

I am merely educating people on how to spot bot-like behavior, it's not my fault if you're taking offense due to the example being a VS player. ;)
  12. Simferion

He's the player in the example :)

You can change the HP/shield bar back to the old style in settings. Mine is.
  14. WTSherman

That honestly doesn't help his case if it's true, because:
1: It's not my fault that he actually does illustrate bot-like behavior, it's just that a person using a bot really does look like that (as the BF2142 video shows).
2: A cheater will be the first person to tell you cheating doesn't exist (because they want people to believe they're legit).
3: Someone who does wave their "skill" around and tries to lord it over other players is less likely to be genuinely skilled than someone who just plays the game and doesn't brag about it (because the humble player has nothing to prove).

It's not quite enough to pass 100% judgement of course, but it certainly doesn't make him look good. ;)

I concur with you. I was just pointing out the fact he posted one video of himself.
    Your points are right.

About the video itself I quote what Botji said:
  16. SeanFree

Surprise, you just watched one of the best players on Emerald work his magic. Visigodo is a monster, he isn't hacking but is actually that dominant on the battlefield. SVA-88 has mild recoil and 0.75 ADS, allowing for some impressive shooting. Sometimes players are so good it seems like they're hacking. Heck, even I've gotten hackusations. Look at my K/D. I know, it's pretty funny to think about.

  17. Karki

if that was not hacking then it most definitely was not skill but instead luck. almost every last person he killed was facing him and armed but did not shoot for some odd reason and his accuracy was insane the kick was near non existent.... even if the guy is legend among legends...you CANT just say that the video is not fishy

So this thread is about TIW?

I met a few of them, they are good but they are not invincible, that's what matters.

I've been playing fps for 20 years and I've seen a lot of cheaters.

Haven't seen a single obvious one here yet.
  19. Botji

If you are looking for obvious cheats on people who would like to hide them, you are about 10 years too late.

All we have now is things like that I pointed out before and other small things that could just as well be up to chance, kinda like how the top 5 Orion accuracy are all in AC like the guy in the video and all of them have almost the same stats on the accuracy/headshots %.

    Accuracy Headshots
    42.503% 41.735%
    40.549% 47.493%
    40.687% 47.036%
    41.139% 47.286%
    38.548% 47.735%

thats the top 5 Orion accuracy people, all from AC. What are the next 5 like(not from AC)?

    34.87% 21.544%
    34.569% 42.997%
    34.825% 22.774%
    33.623% 34.917%
    34.172% 19.164%

Thats the top 10, quite a large difference and a bit odd.
Looking at headshot % instead, AC has 11 places in the top 15.

In comparison the top Carv/SAW users doesnt even come close to the accuracy/headshots of the top 5 Orion users. Are all 5 of them almost exactly equally skilled, picked VS and ended up in the same outfit or do those 5 use the same assistance to get those results?

I know what I think is more probable at least, if thats whats true or not is another matter and I cant prove it one way or another. Its just many small things pointing to the same thing, wich is all a normal user is going to get when looking for cheaters when they dont want to be found. The era of rapidly spinning CS aimbots is long gone..

I know about subtle cheats, antirecoil macros, etc.

Anyone using them deserves to get HWID banned.

But it doesn't really bother me, unless I am getting repeatedly killed before I can even react.
