I just installed Windows 10 and now i can't play Planetside because it isn't compatible with Windows 10 yet. Not sure if there is much DayBreak can do about it or not but just thought I would post about it and let other know about it as well.

    it works perfectly fine

Not sure about this game (using windows 10 on my laptop first) But there is a major issue with Nvidia drivers, not sure about AMD drivers but windows 10 reverts the drivers to a 2006 Windows driver over current Nvidia drivers (because the windows OS thinks there driver is better). Could this possibly be your issue? There is a temp fix online for it just google "Windows 10 Driver Issues" I'm sorry but that's as much help as I can be to you in this particular case.

    I just Lel slowly.

Compatibility is a game's best friend.

Win10 and Planetside works for me as well.

I have new sound issues (every time I adjust a slider in the menu or the game starts, I get a weird burst of static; in addition to the audio channels being off) on my Bose Companion 5 speaker system with this game only. Otherwise, the game is fine.

Have you updated your video card drivers. And if possible can you post your computer specs?

I've gotten occasional static bursts as well after updating Win10. Haven't had it in Planetside yet.

It's a Win 10 thing. I have static bursts in Guild Wars 2 as well BUT the audio channels are correct. Time to file a support ticket with Microsniff

Several things you need to make sure you do.
First off, Make sure that you did a CLEAN INSTALL of the Windows 10 Operating System. I and many others did the upgrade version from 7/8.1 and were plagued by BSoDs.

Second, Make sure you are installing with a current and updated installer for planetside 2. Do not try to use an old one if you have it lying around.

If you have not done so already, Make sure that you FULLY updated windows 10 before trying to run any games (Check windows update, Make it check for updates even if it says its updated). Otherwise, You could be missing the latest patch Microsuck released that fixes a few glitches, But causes even more. Forced updates suck, And they are going to let it be the downfall of windows 10.

Sad thing is, I am still getting memory reference errors. I KNOW it isn't hardware related, None of this crap happened on windows 7. Eventually, I will probably end up going back to windows 7.

    Microsuck?

Well, I don't think is is being fair.

Do you know how many different motherboards, video cards, RAM manufacturers, chipset makers, sound card makers and etc and etc are out there??? And Microsoft has to get their OS working well with ALL of them. No small feat!

I think they do a pretty good job if you ask me. With as many different hardware configurations there are out there, there is bound to be a problem here and there. But, I think it's a WHOLE lot less than it could be.

I upgraded my Windows 8.1 Pro to Windows 10 Pro...sucked out the serial number, then did a clean install of Windows 10.

Planetside is actually running better for me on Windows 10 than it did on Windows 8.1. Thus far, anyway.
