  1. The Fizz

it says the video is unavailable
  2. wesmagyar

As i said its still processing it should be available within the next 15-20 minutes. if not sooner. I May have jumped the gun and posted sooner then i should have :D
  3. The Fizz

lol my fault. I didnt read your comment that closely. I need caffeine.

It's just a bunch of guys flying in random directions and getting killed 5 seconds after taking full damage. It's like some kind of a limbo hell, where we have a rough idea of what's going on but can't really participate.
  5. wesmagyar

Actually its not ;) wait till its ready. and you will see.
  6. Delain81

Yea. i just popped my Boost as well, right before it started and the support answer to this was "oh well, i feel sorry for you.."

    I mean..yea..thank you, that helped!

Ok the video is available now. It shows a play session i did about 2 hours ago. And details the issue step by step as it gets progressivly worse to the point its beyond unplayble. so give it a watch now...

Going to add my voice to this as well, plenty hit markers but no effect. Taking damage whilst round corners etc. Ordinarily would put it down to my own connection but PS2 has been fine before server merge. Plenty of rubber-banding as well.
  9. Zakuak

uuugh...yeah I just logged again....I got a couple kills in the first few minutes as HA so I grabbed Engi and my Lib and headed for impact site. At impact it started acting up
  10. Shasbot

I think it slowly gets worse as you play. First 5-10 minutes seems normal.
  11. Delain81

    Yep, absolutely agree there.
I can play for like 10 Min, then all of a sudden the warping begins.

  13. TeknoBug

You need to relog when you start doing 0 damage, lots of people in chat complained about that last night but luckily I didn't get it myself but I probably will- I've gotten it many times before Mar 1 patch.
  14. Delain81

Thx for the link. Allready tried that yesterday, as this was posted allready a few times, but doesn't change anything for me and a few others.
  15. Delain81

And relogging just fixes it for another 10 Minutes here. Sorry for double.

I think that only helps if the dysync issue is caused by doing a dynamic software OS based OC, rather than setting it in the bios.

I posted because it's exactly what was happening to me, progressively worse desync. Makes sense too as your clock is very little out of sync each frame. after a few mins it adds up till the point of the "limbo" mess.

Edit: might be worth running cmd as admin incase the setting isn't being applied. Just a thought as it's what I did.
  17. ArcKnight

mine is a bit worse kind, when I press "F" the cloak takes a full minute to activate
  18. Delain81

Yea, did not work for me as well without running it as admin.
  19. Zakuak

Sorry to hear you have had this bug since before March 1st patch Teknobug, but I didn't, ever, at all so what ever SOE did increased the scope or amount of effected players.

I tired the bcdedit and it didn't do anything, 10 or 15 minutes into game I got the no bullet hits and few minutes after that everything was warping about
  20. Hoschi

OK Guys, looks like I've fixed it. Shradded now for an hour or so and no "lags" appear so far.
I tried all hints posted here but nothing helped so far.

Just a change of my bus speed on my oc'ed system to 10 MHz less than usual (used and also +5 MHz) worked but just with a fixed Vcore on CPU. If I use standard AUTO settings on Vcore it seem to be the same.
I also set the timings of my memory a bit less than the standadard specs from CAS, RAS to CAS and RAS precharge and set it to +1 clock cycle.

Related to HPET I've read now it's not working properly in WIN 7 so you can try also first to DISABLE HPET in your BIOS before starting to over or under clock your system.

Anyway this is a realy strange behavior after the last patch. And as I read many ppl are facing this issues already a longer period.
In my case it just happened with the last patch.
I agree my system is harcore OC'ed with a Watercooling system but it's "prime" stable for several hours and I never faced such strange **** like this.

Sure PS2 is a challange for any kind of CPU but this is realy a no go from my perspective, if users/customers need to change BIOS setting and system recources to run a application/game.

I really like the game and was often close to buy station cash but I thought always "No wait, lets see if they manage to fix the elemental bug's before you spend money" ...
SONY! I beg you, please check the code and fix these elemental issues first.
It's realy ridiculous to see, you fix hitboxes and weapon power but the elemental stuff is just ignored.

    Flickering textures
Planetside.exe encountered a problem an need to be closed.
    Frozen screens
Frame drops to 0.1 frames per second
    Cheat protection

Forgot to say I also disabled all power saving stuff in BIOS like e.g. C1 halt state stuff you should check also
