Started playing shortly after the server came up, and im having weird issues where i can unload a whole clip on a guy at point blank range. I can see the bullets hitting but i do no damage at all. Also it appears i am having desyncing issues as well. I Have rebooted my computer twice disabled my anti-virus, power cycled my cable modem and router, I verified my game assets twice, and tried everything else i can think of. as far as i can tell the issue is not on my end. i made a video that shows some of the issues i have been having and posted it to you tube. the link is here
Same thing happened to me. Game was working fine before the merger. Hopefully they will come up with something to fix this. Can't play now.
yeah at least twice i had snuck up behind a guy who didn't even know i was there and unloaded a clip right into his back with my SMG and didn't do any damage and he turned around and was able to kill me. that is the weird thing. They can hit me just fine but i cant hit them...

Yeah not the same issue i think. And mine has been just since the merger. It was working perfectly fine before that.
The merger update supposedly included: Client stability improvements Server optimizations Can only laugh. Same ---- is going on that's been going on for weeks. Instead of fixing these bugs we get more shotguns! Yeah, that is what this game needs. More shotguns. Nailed it SOE!
I got almost same problem too, was funny tommorow when i tryed kill a guy into his back shoted whole ammo and didnt event hit him...
One of the greatest failings of this forum is the stupid 'no edit after 30 mins' rule. If that was not that case, I would update the Op to say the following, that from my communications with SoE: 1) They know about it. 2) They are trying to fix it. 3) They as of yet don't know whats causing it and how to fix it. Well i uninstalled it and installed the steam version still having the same issue. so its definitly server side... it makes the game unplayable. and its friggen wierd that its only affecting some people...

^Tried above. (err some fix that was posted elsewhere - I'm getting lost in these threads) Thought it was working for a moment. Then after about 2 minutes of running around Zurvan - everything started going crazy, warping... anytime I jumped I was "in a restricted area." So... I've logged in 8 times since this morning's patch. One time I played for hours perfectly - big battles, everything. 7 times I've logged in and the game has almost immediately freaked out with people warping everywhere. No such issues pre-patch. Game is unplayable. i7 980x @ 4.3 16gb RAM GTX480 SLI
Me as well. Briggs. High range AMD system. Win7. Made no changes on my computer to cause this, other games and internet runs fine.
Having these problems too on a high end system with a very fast & clean connection. Didn't have these problems before (or perhaps once or twice they cropped up and vanished). They are now happening all the time since the last patch (which I know had "optimizations" again - which means they "tinkered with the code"). Lots of strange happenings now
Just keep posting about it...I hope SOE sees it. There is several threads about it that have cropped up in just the last hour. I never wish lame stuff on anyone but I hope the problem is now big enough that SOE pays attention. I've read threads from the players who have been effected by this since Feb 2nd patch...poor guys left to their own devices and now they have a list of odd ball workarounds on the client side, none of which do a darn thing.
I Just made a more comprehensive video with the specific issues i have been having and posted it to YouTube. Its still uploading right now but should be available within the next 20 minutes or so. I Am hoping a Dev will see it and it will help them Resolve the issue.
I wish someone of SoE or whatever would at least say something to us..it just feels stupid this way..hangin around here every now and then, hoping for some hotfix or ****..even f they dont know what causin it..this would be at least an answer.
Amen to that... I Love this damn game and i just dropped like 30 bucks on it yesterday before the issue cropped up... (Alot of money for me) This is the first major issue I've had. I Didn't even have any issues during the Beta.
