Pressing enter doesnt bring up chat... i have to press tab (which is meant to bring up the scoreboard, but doesnt) to swap tabs on the chat menu just to see it, then have to press alt and then click to type.. the ****?
Holy **** this is infuriating. It works sometimes, then it stops working again. All in the same login, with no explanation as to why :/
Chat isnt broken, you are. Seems you accidently pressed a hotkey like ALT-Shift or ALT-Strg something.
Nop. Chat is actually pretty broken. And not just the ability to chat (ie enter stop working for chat purposes), but also region chat stops working in high populated regions. Yell surprisingly works fine everywhere.
/re stops working for me all the time I've also noticed that opening the steam overlay with shift+tab gets the shift key stuck, making it impossible to use enter to chat until you press shift again to release it
This happens to me last night while i was halfminded lurking around on my keyboard with my fingers. A simple pressing ALT+something on the left side) fixed it with the problem Enter doesnt work too. The thingy with /re is, on the other hand, really broken and works for me only like 20%.
uhh... you just said that chat isnt broken, and that its me, and you're now saying that you've experianced the same thing i have been for a while?
I get same issue, I also logged in yesterday and all my loadout 1 camos were gone and my invert flight options weren't working, then mid flight it turned on. ._. Houston, we have a ****load of bugs.
i really really doubt (id love to be proven wrong) that theres some hotkey to make chat not work like it should, and that its the players fault. Especially considering that as much as ive searched for this issue, many have it, and none have a fix for it.
I'm personally most annoyed that /reg randomly decides to spaz out and JUST NOT WORK. I don't want to be giving away region direction commands to the enemy dangit!
Never experienced the bug the op is describing but the bugged /re channel is a major issue imo. We allready have like ZERO communication tools (the future apparently outlaws proper empire wide communication), and the single one that's atleast half useful is not working 50% of the time (actually it's probably even more like 80+ %). FIX /RE.
