https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I13UY3Xc-Kc No question I am a dumbfack but I just hate have to live up to the standard of being at a job. I don't know I just wish people would laugh a little more when you have a funny fail.

Not killing an entire Galaxy full of your teammates is a pretty low bar...

I mean I don't count it as having a "good day" at work when I manage to not kill my entire department, though maybe my standards are just a bit high? :p

Anyhow, yeah you probably deserved to be kicked from your squad/platoon/outfit for that.

Why on earth would you share this?

You just had an entire platoon worth of people talking about how worthless and annoying you are (and have been for as long as any of them knew you) as a player and as a person for like a solid minute.

My recommendation is to look in your area for programs serving people in the prodromal phase of psychosis. Seriously.

Pretty sure the OP isn't the one that was flying.

Edit - crap it was. Hey kid don't let these ****** bags get you down.

Outfits are just aren't worth it. You really get nothing out of it other than being in an outfit.

I'm not joining any outfits anymore, it really just is point less, no matter the faction. Unless you aspire to lead a platoon often, then I guess that's the only reason.

If you replace "Outfit" with "social circle" then there's all the reason in the world to be in one.

It sounds like the guy was trolling his outfitmates by flying them into something. There is a time and a place for that, and that obviously wasn't it :p

The problem was that it wasn't funny. It wasn't unexpected, it could have been (easily) avoided and the worst part of it was that its happened multiple times before. The first few times, yeah it MIGHT have been funny, but after several times? any joke repeated just isn't going to be funny.

I don't know if you apologized or not, but if you did it might have smoothed over the annoyance. But than, i don't run in an outfit as frankly i want the freedom to move from one battle to another without entering what seems like pointless attacks.

just don't bother with outfits, man. Run solo or randomly join a squad if you feel the need to. It's more fun that way, really. Unless you want people to tell you how you need to play.

I, for one, don't want people to tell me what class to play or when to redeploy or not.
  10. FieldMarshall

F'ing your outfit in the A on a regular basis and a "whatever, i dont care" attitude.
I dont think they kicked you out because you crashed the galaxy.

Its not about "having to live up to the standard of being at a job". Its about acting like a normal human being.

In my current outfit, failures are handled with a lot more fun. While the OP seems unnecessary stupid, the overall aggressiveness in that TS talk is utterly repelling as well.

Bad player and aggressive outfit... not a great fit.

did you know that being a moron is your fault, and not the outfits....

Who is more moronic? The moron or the morons that follow the moron? Or in this case the morons that got in the Gal knowing what was likely to happen.

The first time I did this to them was about 4 months before I did it again. It's kinda hard to smooth over annoyances one they want **** on you. The PL in this video would cuss at us all the time and would have tantrums if things went south. He still was and is a good PL since he was a pretty good tactician and player, but at the end of the day when they were yelling I was just like **** you and this bye.

    PS,
They did not kick me out I left. They did ban me from the teamspeak so.
  15. DokterMichael

Yes, it's a lot more fun when you fail, or do something stupid and they just joke it off, but what i saw on the vid doesnt sound like they were having fun at all, would personally not join any outfit like that
  16. Astriania

What you hate is being part of that outfit. Although flying your galaxy into a comm tower during squad play is a pretty major fail, to be fair, and I think any outfit would be a bit annoyed by that ... but I've done it in the past (memorably I did it on Hossin with one of those A buildings that's under a tree and has a comm tower next to it, I forget where exactly) and people weren't so negative.

Hold on, I think I can translate: "I was flying a galaxy full of my entire squad, and flew directly into an antenna aerial. I did not even attempt to steer or slow down, I just kept barreling forward like a munchkin. Now, I am angry at everyone who is angry at me, and I feel their rage is unjustified despite the fact I do sh** like this all the time with intention and without apology. I am the victim here."

    Ok, so... ok.

I haven't in my life encountered a group of people--an entire group--who expressed such disdain for a happenstance mistake. No, this player does this kind of stuff consistently, all the time. He's probably trolling them. I rarely come to the defense of mediocrity, much less intentional failure.

Forumside, where bad players come to whine and cry about being mistreated when their behaviors in game catch up with them.

Outfits aren't for everyone. And every outfit is different. Judging them all by the conduct of a few is asinine.

I for one could not fathom playing this game without my fellow Honeybadgers. They've become more of an extended family over the years and not just an outfit. Then again we don't just play PS2 together, the outfit plays a myriad of online games together.
  19. mike196840

I never flew into the antenna on purpose as a troll, Hossin though me off if that is so hard to believe. I don't no what your problem is considering the response I got I would have to be pretty stupid to troll those guys(If I was trolling would not have I Pm'd them telling ha ha suck my **** or something). Not to mention for the next like three months when I posted in reddit with unrelated stuff the guys from the outfit would auto downvote me and explain the I was the greatest dick that ever lived. Your coming to conclusions with out any evidence besides the fact I am not a member of any outfits any more so I don't see how I could "do this Sh#$ like this all the time).
  20. Shiaari

I just know an agitated group of players when I hear them.

Whenever you find yourself being ridiculed by a large number of people, take a step back and ask: Is it me? More than likely it is.

Seriously. You actually expect us to believe that EVERYONE on that galaxy just blew up at you at the drop of a hat? You know what I think? I think you have a history of doing stupid things like that in groups, and you've got yourself a reputation. That's what I think.

    I believe them over you.

I mean, look at what you've said: "Not to mention for the next like three months when I posted in reddit with unrelated stuff the guys from the outfit would auto downvote me and explain the I was the greatest dick that ever lived."

    THREE MONTHS!?

Do you think that kind of hate just happens? It BUILDS. You've been antagonizing those guys for some time now. It's either that, or there is more at play here, because very few people are that anti-social that they go on a three month redit revenge spree. A few days, maybe a week, but THREE MONTHS? That kind of collective effort just doesn't pop out of thin air. Sure, one guy, two guys, stalking you for 3 months on redit. That's realistic. AN ENTIRE OUTFIT!? You did something, or have been doing something, or you are greatly exaggerating.

Stop being a victim and start examining yourself.
