This problem was bane since the first alerts were implemented and lead to pretty unpleasant results. For example yesterday there was Gaining Ground alert. Both VS and TR had 4 facilities captured, yet TR were about to cap one from VS. I remember clearly that cap timer on that facility was 0:31 seconds while alert timer was 0:33. Cap timer comes up and alert ends. DRAW! Have 23 ISO. It appears that alert timer goes a little bit faster. It's been so many years and this issue still not fixed.
