Why are there so many NC UP threads?

The reason I call BS on that reasoning instantly (for this game) is I remember a period where VS were adamant their performance was due to above-average player intelligence, and not the superiority of the Magrider. They then tried the same trick when ZOE was released. Good times.

Because the NC side of the game has a culture of inferiority pervading it. It doesn't help that the NC lacks a big-name balance-breaker that the other two factions are perceived to have (Vulcan, ZOE, striker, etc), so you're not really getting anything by giving up the opportunity to be TR or VS. So NC go into battles expecting to lose due to these things and what do you know, they lose. It's a cold faction to be in, like being on the losing side of a war where people look desperately for something or someone to blame.

Take the Magrider nerf way back around the beginning of the year, which didn't really affect much technically but ended up hitting the VS hard anyway because their perceived advantage was gone and so was their will, leading to a mass desertion of their faction and a culture of inferiority. Now take the VS out of that box and put the NC in it. There you go. That's what you see today. I don't think the VS ever truly recovered from it. I doubt the NC will either.

On the bright side, at least no one has threatened to kill the developers over it. Or at the very least done so in such a way that I can find it proudly listed in the news. I have to give the PS2 community that much credit, even if it shouldn't be a thing.

It has nothing to do with NC being the 2nd or 3rd performing faction in just about every comparison the Oracle of Death can perform... nothing at all.

NC does have some advantages, but they are most often more situationally rare than TR and VS advantages.

We did have one though, but the Phoenix was nerfed what, twice in the first week. yet the OP Striker just cruised along for 5 months before SOE got around to fixing it. By that time the damage was done and TR was rolling everyone everywhere.

The API sure does though and it has been consistent since launch despite large shifts in players and populations.

There is an imbalance when it comes to the NC, but even when we are out numbered we never give up. We don't admit defeat until it is over, and that is why we do well.

However what annoys us, is that we will have you VS and you TR team up and destroy us. You could do it by yourselves, and when you team up it is just a slaughter. We rarely win the alerts, we rarely manage to hold back your force, but all through out we never give up and we have fun.

They did not actively support the *****, American companies simply did business while they were not at war (for example, Coke set up Fanta as a front company so they could keep making money in Germany even while the war was on).

If your country is not at war then you can't (or shouldn't) stop people from doing business with someone. Their actions reflect perfectly well on their characters.

The US Government never supported the *****, as I recall they funneled supplies to the British and Soviets instead. They stopped giving Japan oil once the Japanese invaded China.

You should have been around before release. There was actually a period where the TR would be the ones complaining constantly that they were UP. Now, I'm not going to talk ****, because there was **** they were right about. The pre-nerf hackmax was definitely too much. The gauss saw originally performed somewhat better than the other defaults. Now that the TR have the better gear, the mentality has flipped.

It's not an NC thing. It's a UP faction thing.

So selling arms to both sides of a conflict, when one of the sides had already annexed 2 countries (and were working on a third, all while bombing civillian infrastructure in a fourth), isn't the sign of moral ambiguity? What about that they waited for a winner to appear? You ARE aware the Yanks didn't jump in until 1940? Basically when Germany was eyeing off the USSR? Or that American public opinion was that Hitler wasn't THAT bad until American troops started dying?

Most of you Americans have an embarrassing knowledge of history. Don't even continue this conversation until you learn the course of that war. Protip: it didn't start with Pearl Harbor and D-Day.

NC have a few problems with a lot of their stuff, especially the hilarious amounts of shotguns we have that require one to be hugging the target to do anything whatsoever. Weren't we nerfed previously, when we had a massive population advantage that bent the balance too heavily in our favor, and then that nerf was never reverted?

You can say the same about Iran today as a matter of fact no? No one is at war (using the term technically) with Iran right now, but there is something called "trade embargo" - you really should tell the authorities they shouldn't do that, or their actions would reflect on their characters (and their pockets).
And before you take this as an attack against your country (I presume you are an US citizen by the way you reacted some of the posts), I'm aware that many other countries have the same relationship against that regime (in fact the whole of the UN among others).
