So I was playing, and then my game crashed. This has happened before and everything was fine. But this time, ALL my settings are reset. Sensitivity, keybinding, everything. I have no idea what my sensitivity settings were. Is there a way to recover these??
It's a bug. No way to recover settings. In the future you need to find your settings folder from the game file and make a copy in case it happens again.
Does doing that mean that you then cant change any in-game settings? Ive thought about doing that and have seen it suggested but never actualy done it, im worried id break the game and have to re-install or something lol. Its a good idea tho if it works.
1, Make a copy of the file in the same folder. 2. Set the original to read only. 3. Experiment in-game with changes in your settings. Once you exit the game, the changes will not be saved. If you like the changes, uncheck read only on the original so changes will be saved after you open the game and apply your preferred settings.
