Why are multi-crew vehicles so unrewarding?

The most rewarding for driving a load of people is when a cliff is involved.

Which is insanity given a tank is a 1-man machine. I wish SOE would just admit they screwed up there by emulating BF3 and switch to multi-crew MBTs (perhaps offering a cert refund for anyone who feels they will be unable to adapt). TTK for infantry being what it is, vehicles can only have so much survivability. If only for this reason, we need tougher tanks so we can have room for more vehicles.

I've wished the lib didn't exist or was more of a actual bomber (with AA alternative) instead of flying artillery cannon. Requires more team work that way and I think the battle galaxy fills the the libs current role in a more balanced fashion. It requires more people and isn't so extreme. I would be up for buffing the battle galaxy as well.

This thread isn't about balance, I won't challenge anyone who hate on the general concept of liberators. It's about the fundamental gameplay, where all viable vehicles are balanced for solo use and the passanger seat is added more as a afterthought. The vehicles that currently REQUIRES a crew to operate (battle galaxies/sunderers and liberators) are horribly underpowered (liberator isn't that bad, but still quite on the weak side)

im not following, i played red orchestra 1 and 2, and I felt there was more war going on in planetside than in red orchestra, it felt like a battlefield game with more realism.

    50 players in a match wasn't something like 350 on a continent.

Though granted it wasn't realistic, I enjoyed having to try to have 1 man crew tank battles in red orchestra because no one wanted to ever share vehicles.

You'd switch from the driver then peak outside the hatch to see anything, then you'd stop switch positions to the turret and try to load, aim, and fire it by yourself, go down to the driver's seat and move the tank and it was pretty funny.

But yes, it was a realistic battlefield, where as planetside was a tribes mmo.

I've been AA gunner in military service.
Most of the time, you do nothing, but wait, wait, wait.
    So, boring.
