Why am I taking 5+ minutes to log into Briggs

12:08am AEST tryn to login to briggs server.
primetime i guess on a sunday morning.

step 1 - selected charactor
step 2 - pressed login and now games in the same state it always is. "Loggin in" been over 5 mins now on the charactor selection screen

Fingers crossed, hoping for a good outcome ,,,,,,,, 7 mins later game just closed no error

repeating steps 1 and 2 again. hopefully il get in one day.

Please help Briggs!!

Looks like they stopped paying the bills for the Briggs server.

for god sake when will SoE / devs ever fix this.. still getting long log in times for a server that barely has pop for 1 continent

Loginside 2, good thing you animated the log in button or I'd have even less fun playing this game.

SoE's inability to resolve this issue does not inspire a lot of faith in the company. Some of us actually pay a subscription to use what has, in all honesty devolved into a fairly sub-standard service. No-one should be forced to endure this level of frustration. Login attempts now typically take 3-4 tries with them often timing out after 10 -20 minutes and subsequently crashing to desktop. One shouldn't have to spend an hour simply TRYING to login so that we MIGHT be able to play. I personally have been unable to successfully login for 3 days now. Until SoE acknowledges this as a problem and takes measures to rectify Brigg's issues, my membership is hereby terminated.

Note to SoE: If you want people to enjoy your game at least take steps to ensure people can reliably access it.

Another night, another unresponsive login server on Briggs...

SOE do you have staff working during your night period that are able to login and replicate this issue? As during your working hours and our offpeak hours the server probably logs in just fine...

EDIT: 5th try and counting... 25+ minutes waiting so far.
EDIT2: Ok got in that time after 30 minutes total.

Me and my outfit mates play a fun game. It's not planetside2. It's "count the spinning green circles until you login"-side 2.

Some got up to 200. They were the lucky ones.

Maybe it's just the water here in Australia.

Losing my patience with this game. The devs have made some huge **** ups before but this takes the cake. Can we at least stop with the ignoring. We may be the minority but we are still a source of income. If this isn't fixed by May there's going to be some hell to pay.

This is starting to get ridiculous, it's been doing this on and off for many months now.
For a server that has such a small population as it is, this is being hamstrung even further by a sizeable portion of the playerbase being unable to login.

Either merge us with a capable server, fix the problem, or hell, even acknowledge there's a problem.
Some of us are paying customers, and surely keeping them happy is the most important thing in any business?

The OP of this thread is vague. The thread title is a question and reads as a request for technical support for a problem which has not been identified. This thread is by all intents and purposes inadequate.

From 9 pages there is only one response from SOE and it took a whole week:

Which would indicate that RadarX did not read through the thread. The specifics of the problem had been well and truly described by that point (page 6).

Briggs is ****** I'm not even going to try to get in tonight

Step 1: Click TR character on Briggs.
Step 2: Click Log in/giant green button
Step 3: wait endlessly for Logging in message to disappear
Step 4: watch game crash to desktop
Step 5: re-read forums to share frustration with others.

Over 20 minutes now. Giving up. It sure is a great way to wipe out the AU interest in this game.
