SC is too expensive. With this deal, I lose out on 1000 SC... (if 2x) Don't think I'll touch EQN. I don't even know what it is about. Though, ESO is what I am looking at.
Ok how about manning up and not buying the SC if its such a bad deal. SOE will notice and make sure to alter the campaign for maximum profits. I was disappointed too about the approach. But as people mentioned, thats just a sense of entitlement. Nothing to publicly complain around imho.
So you would be happy if you got **** as a gift? That's what we are doing, yet you scream some ******** about entitlement. Just stop... using buzzwords won't make you look cool.
No, not confused at all. You THINK that they should give you the same deal as they have in the past. It is written or stated somewhere that when they have a sale it's going to be a set amount or at least X% off?? No. So therefore your expecting something that isn't said to have to happen = a Sense of Entitlement. A$S-U-ME all you want. But i refuse to buy SC at normal price, as a matter of fact I only bought It during a 3x's Xp event because that's where I felt like I'm not getting ripped off. Happier then if I got nothing. You would rather get nothing?? Sounds pretty stupid to me. I mean I would rather a cheap gift then no gift at all. Didn't realize I was screaming. LoL and coming to the forums to moan that you didn't like the Sale b/c you thought you were going to get a better sale is exactly that. "Sense of Entitlement" This^^ LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLLOOOLOLOL Where are you even trying to go with that. *shakes head* And by any means Im not defending SOE.
Actually, a more apt term would be "precedent" While I thought a triple SC sale was improbable, I definitely thought it was going to be at least a double SC day. It is not unreasonable to hypothesize based on historical data.
It isn't unreasonable to hypothesize based on historical data, your right. But it is unreasonable if you expect it and complain when you don't get it. Doesn't matter what anyone thinks SC is worth. The price was set and hasn't change. It is what it is and be happy they even give us sales. What do you call common sense when it isn't so common any more??
I agree, complaining about it accomplishes nothing...but people have the right to, regardless. If people are annoyed by these threads, I would suggest avoiding them all together. It is not that hard to determine the content of the thread based on the thread title, but we all know the truth is that the interwebs cannot resist an opportunity to tell somebody else that they are flat out wrong, even when dealing with something as subjective as opinions. As many here have said, best to vote with your wallets. Corporations understand nothing but profit. Put a dent in that, then they will listen.
lol. Wow... What's wrong with you people? "40% off is terrible, because they've done 50% off in the past. Also, because entirely different companies have done 75% off in the past. Hell, why isn't this stuff free? Some companies have done that, too." I can't think of a more stellar example of being spoiled.
I won't buy anything less than 3x station cash. I do not feel the product is WORTH more. However I am not mad at a 40% sale, just not interested.
It was 40% off because they held a game of twister where each player represented a different price bracket for the sale. It turns out that 40% either had the best balance or just got lucky.
Indeed, I was going to spend ~$100 on a 3x or 2x SC sale, but a 1.8x sale just feels like being nickle and dimed so I spent $0 instead. Steam has it right, I spend a lot on their -75% to -50% sales, very little on the -49% to -10% and a bit on their full price stuff for new games I can't/won't wait to play. Knocking that 0.2x off the sale just makes it feel like they don't value your $$$'s, they just want them.
