    Oh, is that so?
  2. drNovikov

It's as strategic and tactical as blowing up empty AA turrets for XP, not letting an infiltrator hack them and use them against enemy air. You know what I mean, right?
  3. PureSalad

I'm not taking Liberty's side, but I've seen some more than questionable things take place from a few specific NC outfits.

It is very amusing to watch 30-40 tanks parked at one base all ramming each other with no real coordination or direction. Oh and however useless Galaxy crashing in the masses is, I strongly suggest more people do it because that **** is fun to watch.
  4. LibertyRevolution

Your plan is to hack them for 25XP and use them to maybe make another 25xp for an G2A damage before they flee..
Yep... NC priorities are all wrong..

You know that if I kill that turret I get 100XP, and then I get about another 300XP for repairing it..
So, each of those turrets is worth more XP than you earn wasting 5mins capping that empty with 30 tanks..
So, me alone with my repair gun make more certs in 1 hour than your entire outfit with its armor column.
  5. Czuuk

Depends on who you ask. I have my favorites. And everybody has H4TZ. Who would you ask? I'd say ask the TR and VS who they designate as priority targets.

Google H4TZ. Or Czuuk Waterson. If you are prepared.

I am not trying to be at war with the NC...
I also do not camp the crown, I hate central indar, it is only good for snipers and HA rocket spam.
I play 95% Light assault, so I prefer where I can get into piston range.

I find the place with the highest XP bonus, then look for the place with the most enemy activity..
Then I hop in my reaver and fly there, bail, and kill people in that target rich environment..
So, most of my time I am dropping myself far behind enemy lines into a battle that is a TR/VS so I can I shoot at both sides..
They don't even know I'm there...

All I am trying to do is to convince people to play the game for CERTS..
These outfits with 1000 members, making 3000score per hour, are making us fall behind as a faction..
We need to focus on getting the tools needed to play the game on a level field vs the other factions...
You know why NC gets destroyed by TR and VS tanks? Its not that theirs are OP..
It is that our armor column doesn't have maxed upgrades and theirs does.

You need about 3500certs to decently hook up a vanguard..
So, at 3000score per hour it will take them 292hours of playtime to upgrade that vanguard.. (3500*250=875000/3000=291.6)
So if the average person plays 4 hours a day with your outfit, it will take them 73days to be able to upgrade their vanguard.
And that is if they don't spend certs on anything else..
Want to know why 600 of your 1000 members are not active, they realized it would take them 2.5months to upgrade their vanguard..

Do you understand now why I am complaining??
All of you NC are my team, and right now its like being stuck playing with a bunch of level 10's.. do you get that?

Your going to get pwned over and over again soon if you don't get to work on maxing out your characters tools..
I have a feeling that these new outfit leaderboards and competitions may help wake some people up..
If not, your going to see your outfit name on the bottom of the leaderboard, and your going to rethink the whole idea of being a zergfit..
  7. LibertyRevolution

Just life in the NC as we used to say...

I agree I am acting pretentious.. ;) but I invested 36d 17h 50m of playtime into my NC char...
So switching to the Red team to actually be pretentious is not an options at this point, maybe if they offer faction transfers.
  8. Snow Sheltie

I only need 130 certification points to have a decent vanguard. One hundred for the vanguard shield and thirty for stealth. I have done plenty of damage and death on the battlefield with this on my vanguard.
Oh? And here I was under the impression that people are leaving Planetside 2 because of all of the bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
I see a bunch of low-leveled players on the Vanu Sovereignty and Terran Republic side as well. The New Conglomerates are not the exception here.
We get our rear ends handed to us when platoons do not operate as a coordinated unit with proper fireteams, good leadership, and excellent combat discipline. You could have a bunch of the best certed players in the game in a platoon and if they fail to operate as a well-oiled machine, they will lose to a bunch of lower-certed players who do work as a well-organized team.

Good leadership, good team-oriented tactics, and excellent strategy is what's needed to defeat the enemy. Battle-ranked 10 players can be expected to work poorly not because of a lack of certs, but the lack of discipline, teamwork, and a general lack of understanding of how this game operates. Everyone was saying how LevelCap was doing well on a personal level after a few hours into this game, and if I recall, a couple hours doesn't give you a lot of certs to work with.
There's not a single outfit in any faction that would ever reach your immeasurable standards. Outfits like TRAF and BSRN would leave you wanting.
  9. drNovikov

Dude, after I hack 3 of them, I get 0 XP. Zero. My plan is to hack them and repel enemy air. I saw battles NC lost because some ret*rded XP wh*re blew up terminals and turrets, so we could not repel enemy air and spawn AMS.

Although I admire your dedication to the game (Averaging 8.75 hours per day? Wow!) and to the NC, none of what you say is backed up by facts:

According to your stats page, your XP/minute is 67.6. While that is WAY better than mine, it is less than what most of the people posting here are making...

I went to Outfitpoints.com and looked up the stats for DVS, just to use them for an example. They have over 2000 members. Their AVERAGE XP is 628277 per person, and their AVERAGE playtime is 3 days, 16 hours, and 33 minutes (which is 4737 minutes when you do the math). That works out to an AVERAGE of 132.6 XP/minute per player, which is almost TWICE what you are making. Oh, and their KDR of 0.99 is twice yours also.

It seems you might have a lot more certs by now if you had been playing as part of DVS all this time. You may not have enjoyed it as much, but to say that playing in an outfit costs a player certs is wrong.

Time to put up or shut up: play with an outfit for a couple of weeks and see if your scores improve, or start your own outfit and have them play your way. If it truly works, then great, I'm all for NC success.

But don't come on here and tell all these outfits that they are doing it wrong.

EDIT: I wouldn't bother switching to TR, I doubt Pretentious would take you...

as an avid XoO member that is almost always on I can tell you that our most formidable oponents are DVS from the NC side. Followed up by DREV but they are losing their luster lately as ive noticed. But then again im just a 0.7krd scrub so what do i know :/
  12. Czuuk

DVS and DREV are great! When they're are properly organized... ;)

You didn't get my pretentious reference... Does this clear it up for you now?

So... Which NC outfit on Waterson is going to be our version of FUGK?
That is what I'm looking for..
  14. Osskscosco

This is the best outfit for an NC.

Don't rely on hacking terminals to pull a sunderer.. The enemy spawns it armor there, they are a priority target to destroy.
I'm sorry if your too slow to get there to hack it first.. I had to take it out so they stop spamming prowlers...

You couldn't repel enemy air without AA turrets? Does your platoon not have a even a dual burster max??

Don't drop your platoon behind enemy lines unless you can either flip a substation, or drop a guy at the nearest friendly base on the way over and have him drive in a sunderer...

Try and justify it anyway you want, but the way I see it, you are taking 2 certs away from the NC every time you hack a turret.

 That's not what the current gameplay would have me believe.

Feels just like BF3 to me..
The people that are higher levels have more toys and more options on how to deal with the enemy.

I just want to roll with guys that have all the toys..
I'm tired of playing with people that cannot pull whatever weapon we need.

Yes my KD is poor. I throw lives away, I play light assault. Kill, die, respawn, die, kill, respawn.. who cares about K/D..
I spent 40BR leading platoons doing the base cap thing and getting dead looking at the map while getting minimal certs..
Then my eyes opened.. and I saw this was BF3.. and I need to upgrade my weapons or I'm going to get pwned..
