Whats with all the hackers this last week

Im not one to call anyone a hacker unless its extreamly clear and before this last week i had only ever seen 1 for sure hacker in this game and in the past 2 days ive seen 2.

One i found in a biolab fight as he was spamming his basic VS sniper rifle like kick meant nothing a little fishy but whatever its possible he could be an alt of a pro. So i tryed to sneak around the other door and around the edge as a stalker infiltrator he met me half way and blasted the crap out of me so i was like wtf thats super fishy but still possible i suppose now it wasnt till a bit later when they were pushed off the platform and i was stalking around the back again just to check if he was there and he sniped me again but this time it was from the other base on a mountain near the jump pad and i was like ok theres absolutely no ******* way hes not cheating.

The second one was today basically 20 minutes ago as i was joining a friend in the completely 1 sided alert and i went to a 3 point base where everyone was fighting and well stalked around i was pretty happy i finally finished my force recon directive and felt like knifing a few people. Well i successfully knifed a few people before heading to a sundy nearby to reload claymores and a VS max comes teleporting around and i was like oh crap better hide that doods lagging like crazy he settles down wrecks the sundy i stab him a few times die have a laugh because i was hoping he wouldnt notice then he teleports off and away. well i come back and hes on the Very top of the tower where light assults like to put becons and im like ok thats an interesting place to be i stalk around sit on a hill and try and pick people off i sit still next to this hill stareing at the building because its only vanu because the NC that owned the base got cut off and anyone that was there left. While i was watching the building i see the max teleport which i now know was speed hacking all over the place through walls kill a sundy come flying back go through the wall again and towards the end of the cap while he was sitting in the middle where you spawn vehicles he just turn teleports in front of me and blasts me all while i was in deep cloak and at good distance on top of going through walls and the teleporting around speed hacking weird thing i was like no ***** way another god damn hacker can have any fun.

Anyways im not sure if im supposed to call them out specifically but im going to the first one was a VS named SoloCustoms on emerald server and the second one was also a VS named 000O00OOO000000OOO000000

anyways i hope nobody else has had my same misfortune as it completely turned my good mood and good time into an angry why the hell do i pay membership to support the game for this **** and go and complain in the forums day.

You pay your membership to help make H1Z1 a better game. DBG has moved on from this game and shifted focus to H1Z1.

There have been no hackers. Just accept that people are good and move on.

Because betting on the game with many MANY similar other games of the first person survival instead of inticing people into the kinda of unique scale first person battles of planetside is a fantastic bet i hope the CEO isnt a gambling man

Its kind of a psa in the keep your eyes peeled i think this is one of those hacker waves ive heard people talk about like i said ive only been sure of a hacker once before this in my time playing and the test is usually cloaked at a great distance and moving to a spot and sitting still then if they magically shoot you from 200 meters out or speed up and kill im sorry but i know you can see through deep cloak at 10 ish meters but past that and its the same as invisible unless you have "esp" hack as ive been told its called

This game is 2.5 years old, it has hit the age where it's not going to happen for it. It is on a subpar engine that emphasizes the CPU far more than virtually every other PC game which causes many issues. The USA server datacenters are in poor locations, the community is very toxic to newer players with constant "**** go play cs" comments. There are dozens of negative cons against PS2 that cannot be easily resolved.

H1Z1 on the other hand is a game in a paid beta with almost 7k players currently on it, by contrast PS2 has just over 1.5k players online currently. It makes a ton of business sense to redirect PS2 funds to H1Z1's development and shift focus to H1Z1 and potentially PS2 on PS4. It does not make much business sense to spend $20 an hour (which is what the ultimate cost of a low paid GM would be) to police a game that is shedding 10-20 concurrent players a week per server when your membership funds can be used to develop a growing game with mass interest.

I totally agree on the surface and if this was one or two years ago I would agree with you. However, the game has faded too far to recover at this point. Games that make turnarounds such as Final Fantasy XIV admit their mistakes and announce plans to fix them while their game is still "new" and in the spotlight. The spotlight for PS2 has long since faded and BF4 (with 14k current users on PC), albeit not as massive a game, has overtaken it for the target audience leaving just a niche of hardcore users and unfortunate freebies who download the game to try it and rarely stick.

Honestly I tend to give people a lot of leeway when it comes to accusations, but I was 1-shot by a Mercy MAX from 50m away (killed the moment I saw him). Even with lag I find that very suspicious. And there's a lot of talk on the forums about other hackers, so it's not just me.

A fair point tho its my belief people will be tired of the survival shooter genre soon too many people burned by too many bad games and hacker infested games.

I agree, if a AAA company does not announce one at E3 this year that comes out quickly the genre will fade away. Players are tiring of the eternal beta tests.

I started playing again about 1.5 months ago and have been seeing quite a few 100% clear and undeniable speed hackers. Once every few days. Never used to come across this sort of thing. I'm sure there are plenty of people around using the more subtle stuff that we've all seen advertised as functional in youtube videos. And considering that tons and tons of people are being banned from H1Z1 for hacking, I think it's really ridiculous to act like this game is somehow completely immune to it. Not to say that there aren't also a lot of genuinely good players, but that excuse doesn't just explain away everything.

Yeah i basically only call somone a hacker when they do something thats essentially impossible and the only test i have for that is the stalker cloak at distance and getting sniped or completely run up on in the middle of a field ive been killed alot as an infiltrator and 99.9something% of people that killed me are completely legit sometimes you can see the outline of a gun even in deep cloak or they turn or they walk into you and notice hay my pathing was a little messed up but after a certain distance you are invisable and ive been killed there from a distance before too but thats usually team members being near me and i get hit by proxy but when your out by yourself that far out never out of cloak and you get taken out theres just no doubt. And as for the max well even his team was like hacker going through walls teleporting everywhere real fast on the ***** roof everyone report ect.

Honestly with PS2 they have a thing that only they offer if they actually improved it the game could live on i believe League of legends and World of Warcraft have shown that if you really flush out the charm of your game you can be very successfull and live very long the potential is there but that would require effort and time instead of just digging the grave and milking it on the way in

Yeah the first one the stats are relitively normal as i said it was an experience i had to explain to find out he had esp and thats basically it and for all i know it was just that night as a test or something but he was definately hacking at that time you just simpyl dont know that theres a stalker infiltrator thats been cloaked since before he walked out past a pad on the edge of a biolab from the next base and snipe him while hes deep cloaked recharging without a hack.

This guy looks clean, most of his kills come from MAXes which you know don't die that often.
Also, low BR KDR is usually inflated because there's not enough deaths to accurately measure it.

i guess i have to get something to record for when it happens again people simply look at stats and believe unless they have a rediculas KD they arnt a hacker thing is hackers tend to be bad players with an unfair advantage with the hack and theres not a hack that makes you not die as far as im aware i guess you would simply have to see for yourself the 2 time he walked through a wall or up top a tower with his max to actually believe he was hacking much like everyone oh his team at that base at the time or be the one that watched the guy blast him in the face from the next base with the standard sniper rifle while in deep cloak

If only you pop dead quickly due to a guy doesnt mean hes a aimbotter or what if it was everyone in a 30m radius around you wouldve died.

You can call hacker so quickly its insane but ik 80% of the times that dude is just good.

I know there are hackers but i bet alot less then you think.
And i you find a hacker just redeploy or respawn somewhere else planetside is big enough for you to find or make a new fight. Be creative the sky is the limit.

He also has a total HSR of 21%, and 30% for the Solstice. I have a 27-28% HSR with the GODSAW (JustHereForOrion has 35%-45% for all LMG, KPM of 2.24 overall) so his headshots aren't out of the ordinary.

20% of the playerbase is cheating? No, I would not believe that.
