So I jumped on the bandwagon finally and purchased some SC since it was a triple day and all. I've actually had the Nyx for some time I had a bunch of SC already on my SoE account from a while go. For the Nyx I currently have the HS/NV 1x Scope (Honestly it's crap please please please change the color of the cross-hair it bleeds into the background). 3.4x Red Dot (I pretty much always use this) For the Parallax I currently have nothing, I just run it stock I was thinking of getting the Laser Sight for the Nyx so I can hip fire it since I use the Nyx for more close range combat. I assume the Fore-Grip will be useless since it doesn't have any horizontal instabilities. Is anything worthwhile on the Parallax? The scope on it is pretty decent, I honestly dislike the 12x scopes half the time you zoom in and you can see their skin cells, very disturbing! Thanks for the advice!
Yeah the 12x scope sucks unless youre going for extreme distances. Maybe you want to try out the 10x which is the scope i use all the time and is a good compromise. The 8x is also nice, just chose the one youre the most comfortable with and hang on to it. And thats basicly it, you dont need anything more for this beauty.
Parallax: 12x scope is nice for long range. For medium range you can cert for 8x or 10x. Nyx: Laser Pointer is a must for Hip-fire (don't forget to switch it on+off after log in). Suppressor is really cool on Nyx, but recoil is annoying. I tried both suppressor and compensator. However, I stick with suppressor for Infiltrating, laser sight and OG-4 (4x) scope. Nice additional to Nyx are proxy mines I know its annoying to cert stuff that will be never in use ... still it is about personal preference.
