What Makes You Rage Quit

When I unload more then half a clip into a guy and he puts me down with only a slither of health left. (And no, not talking about Heavies. It happens with every single class at times.) And hey, I don't have **** accuracy overall! It's just sometimes my focus gets cut in half.

Anyways, what about you guys?

My internet cutting out from the inclimate weather.

I never get rattled enough about game stuff to up and quit over it. I don't know why others do. I really don't.

It's simple. Some people take the game a lot more serious than others do. If everyone had the same view as you on gaming then there wouldn't be any funny rage videos for us to point and laugh at.

But that's the ironic thing. I take the game seriously when I play. Well more so the competitive element rather than the mechanics. In fact on these very forums I've been accused of taking the game too seriously by the very people who likely rage quit in the first place.

Like I said, I just don't get it. Only thing I got is I take Personal Responsibility for my actions, outcomes, and performance. Many rush to blame cheats, devs, and 'cheese' instead. I'm not suggesting I'm better than these players, but I sure as hell enjoy the game more than they do. If their word is to be taken at face value, they can feel free to indicate their exaggerations themselves if they wish. Until then I'll take them at their word.

1,000 ping whenever I try and do anything productive in this game. It happens more often than not

Not too much a player could do to make me quit out of sheer anger, but when my client crashes multiple times in a single session? I usually just say hurtful things to my computer and say offline.

Zerging...but its more logging out of disappointment than rage.

Dropping below 3 real KDR. When every fight is a 48+ zerg. Indarside. Constant infil spam.

When it's late at night and I get killed by the 96+ army of Korean and/or Chinese lagwizards. The Japanese are okay though, they don't lag nearly as bad for some reason.

I cant remember logging off in anger, but i do log off in frustration if i cant find any good fights.
In fact, bad/boring stalemate fights is probably the main reason i log off.

I hear they have pretty good internet in Japan, and they live closer to the US servers (compared to the other asian countries)

I am the best though.

While it doesn't necessarily make me rage quit, moreso, just log out with a sigh.

Enemy has aircraft everywhere? Time to pull a Skyguard! *Gets blown up by a small group of tanks*

Hmm, they have tanks. Better nab my AV Harasser. Get in friend! *Get blown up by aircraft before reaching the tanks*

Urgh, dang air. Time to pull my double Walker Sundy. *All the aircraft is already gone and I can see a mass of infantry starting to run in from a spawned Sundy*

Time to just go Light Assault *Air comes back*

This happens a lot and it really is frustrating.

This,,,,,,,specifically finding that all six of my avatars can only spawn on Hossin and there is nothing bigger than a 1-12 fight going on

That valkyrie floating above our sunderer thats deployed the same light assault that placed C 4 on the sunderer eight times that i killed 8 times while trying to destroy the valkyrie alone in a 96-96 battle

Literally hovering so close a light assault could have C 4d it in 10 seconds

I flipped out and the game crashed by my anger alone

So what then is it about planetside that draws you in? I thought everyone was here for the massive battles. Plenty of small scale lobby games

Anyway, once I got my first ragequit notification on recursion, I never did it again. Though to be fair, I had only rage quit maybe two or three times, but once I knew someone would be having a smug giggle or a hearty laugh on the other side, as I do, it never happened again.

Now I just afk for a couple minutes to pull my head out of my *** before redeploying.
