What kind of music do you listen to when you play?

    I don't listen to music. I just listen to the puns and sound macros coming from my outfits' teamspeak.

    "You just got dunked on" and the MLG airhorn never go out of style.

    I can't listen to music. I have to know when some stealth Liberator is going to swoop out of the sky and insta-kill my 450 nanite MBT with a Tank-Buster before I can even see him. The sound is the only thing that occasionally saves me.

    Yeah, I don't recommend playing with music. Audio cues are a huge source of intelligence, so for maximum efficiency it's better to keep the channel clean. Only recently I started listening to my usual playlist as a way to relax. Grinding kills with weapons / classes I don't like really stresses me out, but no going around it for exceptional directive.

    I listen to waifu simulator music too. Just not when playing planetside.

    As someone who plays Stalker and finds audio cues important, I realized that remaining focused and chill is more important, as often I find myself making poor decisions when I'm not listening to music and then I get too frustrated, and in the end result that gets me killed more than anything else.

    Nothing beats classic rock n' roll with machine guns thundering in the background!


    I have a whole classic rock playlist just for PS2.
    Who cares if you can hear the ambient SFX or not?! Drilling bullets into enemies' skulls during slick guitar solos is essential to the 'complete badass' experience.
