What is Planetside's main player demographic

What age group are most players of this game in?

Everyone in my outfit is between 18-45 years old, so I would assume somewhere around there is the largest age group, but overall I'm not sure.

I'm 13

But in all honesty around 16-35

i dont mind people knowing how old i am - im 37
most people i know in the game are 20-40 years old

late teens early 20's like every modern shooter out there

As a sequel to the 10-year-old planetside I think this game has a leg up in the average age demographic, because the crowd that played the original is several years older than the console FPS generation.

Surprised to say, judging by my own outfit's regulars, people in the recruitment platoons, and the people who shout expletives in prox chat. I'd say 18-40. There probably is a large amount of kids, but I hardly hear them. Most of the people I hear seem like they've at least gotten past puberty.

I think between the learning curve and how patient you've got to be at times, it burns out the lower demographic after a few weeks.

well I'm 27 and I've met people younger and older than me pretty much equally. So I would say it's mostly 17-40

im 22 and still derping.

Recent OPs have had low turn out rates, might need to wait till hossin is launched, will get a lot more people playing again when it is.

PC players tend to be in the 20+ range, since PC's tend to have higher cost associated.

16 but most of the players I talk too (Mattherson TR) are about 22-42ish.

I myself am 19, but the lads I play with vary in age between 18-45.

Males aged 15+ and/or anyone who likes war games but thinks Battlefield is too small.

I think this game has a higher density of older gamers (30+) than others I have played.

It's not the years, HooWoo, it's the mileage.
