What happened to these "long battles" we were promised.

Nope. "Big battles", watch-words for being bad at the game and needing to dumb zerg and farm a spawn room with 30 prowlers and 40 mozziez. Some people are lazy, they don't want to protect their territories.

    Funny.

What I miss is an adavantage I get by defending an area. I mean - capturing brings XP but defending? I often think: "let them roll in and get it, when we cap back we will get our XP." That´s annoying.

If you think all big battles are just a mindless zerg, find another game, this one clearly isn't for you.

    But true.

Perhaps we can't see the forest for the trees.

Peiople expecting these "huge long battles" are getting them, but the battle is more than just the contest over one capture point.

View the battle as happening over a larger space involving multiple CPs, and you will see that we have enormous, very long battles.

But the trouble is, those multiple CP 'battles' are essentially 3v3 team-deathmatch, if that. Not what I think a lot of people signed on for when they joined the game.

    This.
  7. 13lackCats

How so? Why isn't every battle a team deathmatch?
  8. 13lackCats

    At the cost decreased replayability.

I think that instead of looking for ways to created contrived battles, layers would be better served understanding the battles that are being created, and the battles they can create.

If we're constantly playing in such small numbers, then why not play something intended for small numbers in the first place?
  10. 13lackCats

You didn't answer my first question.

Small numbers? You're doing something wrong.

Oh I know, I've watched a many battles and videos and it kills me knowing I wasn't able to be apart of something like that. It's what's making me so pushy to see it happen like that
