Shortly before the beta ended, SOE changed the cert gain from 500:1 to 250:1, but doubled the prices on almost everything. They said they were also going to increase passive cert gain, too. However, if anything, passive cert gain seems SLOWER than it was then. And this is coming from someone who has a subscription! What happened to your promise, SOE?
Anyone else from beta remember their post in one of the threads saying that they would increase passive cert gain to compensate a bit?
It seemed like it was working on the first few days of launch then stopped. I also purchased the Alpha Squad pack and the premium monthly service. I think they broke something.
I think its still there but you need to log in every 24 hours to get it. So you can create a character and cleave it for weeks.
I'm not saying the gain isn't there, I'm saying it's LESS than it was in the beta, when it is supposed to be MORE.
They also claimed that there are more ways to get exp, and then they promptly halved the sundy spawn exp and introduced the deployment range.
Yeah, seriously.... They seem to have REMOVED ways to get xp, while also reducing passive cert gain. It's ridiculous...
I did say I have a subscription... If it's really supposed to be THIS slow for premium players, than I shudder to think what it is for free players... What, 1 cert a day?
I know... It should at least be 10 per day. Relatively minor compared to the higher unlocks, but it'll at least make weapon attachments less of a pain to get...
