What do you think are PS2's biggest issues?

    For example:

    1. Forward grip changes - were supposed to fix LMGs, ruined most guns in the game
    2. Esamir base changes - went from my favourite continent to craptron in a day
    3. Crash on exit - because there's nothing like suffering from any number of problems with PS2... and then crashing on exit, like a rotten cherry on a ****cake.

    1: ZOE maxs , ability thats have break the balance between the maxs and infantry , previously all based on speed and agility

    2: Nanoweave armor who become almost a requirements and who is a straight foward HP buff , thats give 25 % more health and simply ruins the whole suits slots purpose by not been a sidegrade but a direct upgrade to survivability ( this suits slot should be remoove ) and replace by some others more suitable and enjoyable suits slots thats give true Sidegrade and does not affect the raw ttk of the classes

    3: Heavy assault shield , and HA survivability , the ability to stack nanoweave 5 and the HA shield who can grant up to roughly 2300 HP to the HA users while using the shield , it become a huge issue with lag compensation etc..

    4: overall performance Bug and crash

    C85 enforcer.
    NC bound to having slow, limited range or very situational weapons.
    Lots of other imbalances.

    No metagame, endless TDM. Game performance. Lack of updates. Lack of communication from developers. Lack of continents & continental lattice. Strikers, Vulcan, Marauders, ZOE Max. Lack of incentives for leadership, Drop pod spam, Squad beacon abuse. Lack of incentives for galaxy use. Lack of empire specific weapons/vehicles. Lack of "good" cosmetics & character customization/no voice emotes.

    PS2 has only one "big issue" which will ultimately destroy it rather sooner than later: empire population imbalance.

    And apparently SOE is not willing to really address this problem; we all witnessed this becoming bigger and bigger for months now and all self-regulating mechanics we have seen so far failed miserably.
    SOE needs to man up and forcefully fix this: dont allow logging into empire X if they are more than Y% overpopulated (for free players - of course the few subscribers left can do as they please).
    Yes, this would piss off some players because they cant... well... play anymore as they like.
    But I mean honestly - why care? SOE already got their money and its for the good of all; and in PS2's current state I very well doubt there is going to be a lot more cash left to collect from free players.

    Or maybe they just dont care anymore.
    As we have all witnessed their pay-for-useless-crap model was not able to support their staff and all what's left now is to try sucking a few more bucks out of the console population before abandoning PS2 completely... pardon me, I meant "switch to maintenance mode"... and move on to the next big thing.

    1. Joining the largest overpopulated faction affords you too many rewards versus fighting for the underdog. Give more benefits to the players who still make your game interesting...
    2. Add more interesting attachments, beyond underslung weapons, to a wider range of weapons. In other words, spend some time individualizing weapons and class specific attachments.
    3. Make bases, and the benefits of owning them, more diverse.

    1 shot, 1 kill snipers. Game didnt need them.

    The spawn area in bases. Needs a total re-design.
    Currently promotes people sitting inside behind sheilds being ******.
    Currently requires attackers to camp spawns as there is no other sensible way to stop the defenders taking the point.

    Faction swapping. Should have had timers and restrictions since day 1, even more so when alerts are active.

    Grief system. Needs to be more severe and remember across game sessions. Punishments need to affect all characters on an acount.

    ESFs - Still too powerfull, multirole with one setup.
    2 weapon systems and 2 counter measures for 1 person was a bad move.
    They die real easy when they are stupid but most of the time can farm targets that are restricted from firing back with ease.

    Leader ship tools. The in game voice is broken most of the time. The SLs and PLs need more tools so they can get there points across without talking.
    More waypoints, the ability to basic geometry on the map would help.

    AMSs. need more defences. Delpoy a sunderer at a base and within seconds it will be dropp podded or c4d by an LA from the sky.
    Both of these are pretty much un defendable even if you do have a squad on overwatch.

    MBTs. We need the ability to make the current MBTs dedicated driver or a new HBT that is dedicated driver.
    The current MBT needs more defenses against infantry and armour but cannot become more powerfull when it can still move and shoot with only 1 person.

    Render ranges. This affects lots of stuff. Phoenixes, Engineer turrets, lib bombs.
    It shouldnt be possible to be damaged by something that you cant see or spot.
    It shouldnt be possible to be damaged by something and be unable to return fire if you had an appropriate weapon.

    Esamir. The bases need 10-15% less WALLS, slightly more rocks/trees. overall the continent terrain needs to be less anti vehicle.
    Then SOME of the walls need walkways and cranulations.
    I shouldnt be forced to play Infantry in order to contribute.
    With the current system, none of the defenders are forced to play vehicles, which makes my vehicle redundant.

    Passengers / Gunners. For a game that pimps itself as a team based shooter. This has to be the most convulted system ever.
    Pulling a vehicle and getting gunners shouldnt be so hard or so dangerous.

    Hacking. More work, More Vocal about results. Name and Shame.
    Its currently cheaper and makes more sense to sub to the subscription based hack sites than it is to sub to PS2.
    As a paying customer I shouldnt log on and see the same players hacking week after week.

    All of this except Sniper role, it's not easy to get a OHK as many think, Nano weave negates any chance of an OHK. This is why 90% of infils play SMG infils currently.

    BIGGEST issues?

    1. Optimization - lack of optimization has kept new players from sticking with the game since launch, play retention is low, and veterans leave every day

    2. Population Imbalance - This has been the most major issue from a gameplay standpoint since launch, many servers are still grossly in favor of one faction.

    3. Lock-on mechanics in their current form, because they ruin everything, for everybody.

    2. engies turrets. invisable missiles that have op damage at massive distance.
