I don't want this turning into scientific debate as to "what is best", because in the end it's all preference. My reasoning behind saying "Jaguar is the best LA carbine" is following: Jaguar is a user friendly gun, that doesn't have any particular weaknesses in any area. While it is true that there are weapons that have advantages over Jaguar in some areas, they pay dearly for them. It is not as if "you should choose Jaguar every time and there is no better weapon for any situation". That would be simply not true. However, if there were a question "If you could choose ONE GUN to always use as a Light Assault, what would it be?" the answer would be "Definetely, Jaguar". Jaguar is rarely the best choice in a given scenario, but it never is the worst choice either.
Jaguar. The only time that is not in my loadout is when I am fighting in an open field. Open field (tree camping) I use an NS-11c with compensator, forward grip, and HV ammo. Then again an open field is not the best place to be playing light assault... So yes, Jaguar is the go to gun.
Sorry guys for not giving a quick reply As I'm aware, there are no better weapons per se, that's why I asked for the most used Actually, I was asking that for a friend of mine, I don't find myself playing LA, I'm more of an LMG lover! Also, he just changed faction to VS so that was a somewhat useless question -.- Anyway, I think it's still usefull for people looking for directions as there's been quite the debate! Thank you for you answers P.S. = Just to not open another thread.... the most used weapon for VS LA? XD
Pretty sure it's Solstice, because it's free and available from the start. In my mind the gun is complete ****. Otherwise, it's either VX6-7 for hip-fire or Serpent for ADSing.
on LA it kinda does. The versatility of the weapon plays to the main, hell the only, strength of LA. LA beginners typically prefer a specialist weapon overall, as it is easier to take all that mobility and use it for pigeon holing yourself into one dimension of play. All the most experienced LA run, for general purpose (meaning they don't know early what the situation is) either an S variant with an UBGL, or the all infantry carbine (Jaguar, VX6-7, solstice)
The 1st shot X is a bit high for me, but beyond that the tight moving cone and low recoil make it good for quickly drawing and maintaining a bead on the head.
Well I couldn't manage to do that, I felt like the gun was living a totally separate life for me. It's not like I tried really hard, though.
