They are the ones who hop over to the highest pop when an Alert starts

Free certs for me, lol. But seriously, you can tell the 4th factioners from a regular player. They're extremely easy to kill.

Op's sig is hilarious, your sig is odd.
I've got a 560TI and getting 30'ish fps in the most massive battles with all on max (texturequality=0).
Not physx effects though, as a 20fps drop ain't worth it.
If i lower shadows to medium i get 60 in battles.

4th factioners have nothing to do with alerts. The 4th faction is the group of individuals who will jump between all three factions for any number of reasons. Reasons include everything from winning alerts, to switching because their favorite toy was nerfed/buffed, or simply to intentionally cause havoc on a team that is not their own. The frustration with 4th factioners comes from the fact that faction population balance can never be achieved as long as these people are playing this game. Every game update has been followed by a faction population shift. The shift usually follows the "OP" faction. Right now, as we see from all the complaint threads, the favorite faction is the NC. At release, it was the vanu, after the magrider was nerfed, it became the TR because of the prowler buff. the NC saw their major pop explosion after the introduction of the pheonix. These toys arnt the entire reason for the shift of course, but are heavy considerations for the feeble minded forth factioners.

These forth factioners know nothing of balanced gameplay, the concept of fun, or any degree of loyalty to their team. They create huge imbalances which cannot be dealt with because they are constantly in a sate of motion shifting as the winds direct them.

Generally you can see the bigger pop changes with warpgate changes. 4th Factioners seem to have a favored warpgate from what I can see.

I said any number of reasons ;)

That may be true for a few people, but the TR have the favored warpgate right now on helios, and they are consistently the lowest pop. While I dont disagree that warpgate location plays a role, I dont think its quite as big a reason as weapons "balance"

uh huh..............you do realize we're not on earth

  14. GSZenith

switching last min for 50certs insted of 1cert seems rather good idea to me.

they are the planetside 2 teamswitchers........WTF did they think would happen allowing people to create more than one soldier on the same server when the game revolves around certs and micro transactions? the alerts are the biggest problem causing it and need to go.
  19. ABATTLEDONKEY

There is no way of testing out a different factions weapons. You must be logged into a TR character in order to try TR weapons. Eve in the VR room

No. 4th factioners are folks that switch factions for their own personal gain. It's one thing to have alts and play other factions for fun. It's another thing to do it specifically to maximize cert gain.
