went NC to VS for a day...wow

My kdr triples going from NC to VS. The VS guns almost feel like hacking with no recoil.

I've noticed VS Snipers are hugely hammered. my Bolt action will nail them from further out an its always a kill headshot. Though I have to admit, VS guns to look cool an sound better. The NC sniper rifles need to be much louder, an a deeper bass boom. the smaller sniper rifles in RL give a crack sound. but the big stuff, you hear a 50cal like a thunderclap ....(little exaggerated) but you get the idea)

well they have a rule that they dont refund SC items for such reasons...but the camo will probly be account bound when they release taht stuff...but any empire weapon you buy sticks to that empire so if you buy a rifle thats NC...you can only get that if you make a other NC charater on a different server ^^ the N-11 A probly will be account wide since it does not belong to any empire.

I was just thinking..if SOE would implement an experimental Re-Cert/Re-SC as long as you play as another faction how many NC would be left.

At the beginning I was sure that the Vanu were my kind of thing. Im kind of a Technocrat, you know technological progress as the next step in human evolution. Problem was..I couldnt stand the Looks of the Classes..all those Spandex Heroes..so I chose NC at release, spent 30 bucks and have too much time invested to be interested to start from scratch..but I'm tempted..so very tempted..

Trouble is, for us Aussies we only have 1 server, now spending 250$ its a bit of an insult to then tell us,"sorry tough **** you have to stay NC or delete it, an lose all that cash".....
To delete your char on Server, then remake him on same server different faction, isnt a big deal. I know for me refusing to allow this shortens the lifespan of the game dramatically. Specially when you know how stupid your faction is.

And then you reroll on an American server to try the other factions and realize that NC on Briggs is better then TR or VS on any American server..Yay latency. The only bad thing about living in Australia is the distance to all the servers

Please dont allow cert transfers the Vanu Swarm is already way to big.

The Vanu's no bullet drop is a massive advantage it doesnt matter how much to **** their damage more bullet will always hit the target. I reckon no bullet drop should be removed from the game....I really cant believe a developer would put such a massive advantage into a game. Also lets not mention strafing tanks that can easily dodge incoming fire....lol

With these advantages I can totally understand why people are flocking to the Vanu.

FFS man, #1 90% of all engagements are within ranges there is no bullet drop anyways. Or damage drop-off for that matter.

#2 the damage drop is is VERY significant... and no bullet drop doesn't matter when you still have CoF. 1 degree may not seem like much but it ends up a couple feet off target 100m away.

At present, players with limited cognitive abilities dissipate into VS after trying NC or TR, and can be easily farmed there en masse for certs. Besides, it is fun to pwn a fully upgraded BR40 VS guy with nice camouflage and face mask as a little BR5 F2P TR bugger, over and over again. If the devs nerf VS, the spice will stop flowing.

But why should I pay all that money (yes I know I choose to do it), then also get a double wammy by putting up with triple the pings I have on Briggs.
I am sort of customer SOE would kill for in abundance, because we spend a huge amount of $$, I fail to see why we should be punished for that aye .

Yup easily get twice the kills as vanu vs my NC roll. they're a short ranged faction in a primarily long range game.

actually for me, I like Vanu because the graphics look nicer, the soundscape is better. bullet drop for me as a sniper is pretty irrelevant because I always work at my max range an I only go after stationary targets usually, unless they are closing on me.

I know I agree, I deleted my VS to reroll to NC after spending money on her. Granted it wasn't a major amount. I do not like the limits we have at the moment in regards to characters and servers

Huh, this one I don't understand since my Platoon always has an easier time with VS than we do with TR (except when there's a ton of Magriders involved). ... but if there's 1 culprit for it, I'd assume it's this:

yes I am with you there, I have thought about it, but losing all that $$ + thousands of certs, an rank 31 is jsut too much of a punishment. I doubt I would keep playing for long after doing it.

TR weapons have a higher fire rate, which is HUGELY BENEFICIAL with the absolute **** FPS most everyone gets. NC weapons do more damage, but if your FPS suffers, it's VERY hard to land every shot.

Once (if) they optimize the game, folks will probably cry that NC is OP and wish to transfer etc.

I played NC until like level 7 when Jaeger was down. Luckily, there was a fairly tame population on Esamir, but an equal battle. I totally wrecked face with those hellacious NC guns. Again, it was low pop, so I got 60+ FPS. I've been FPS gaming since a bit before Doom 2, and I can definitely tell you frame rate is by and far the biggest factor in determining the victor in any firefight.
