went NC to VS for a day...wow

I have been playing FPS games longer than main demographic has been eating solid food. I can tell when something is better.I went VS just for a day and its an amazing shift in feel. I can take out whole rooms of people and put hurt on people in good cover.

VS weapons are not godlike but they get the job done and when fighting TR I can use my strengths against theirs.
I guess playing NC has made me a better ps2 player. I talked to the other players and alot of them are NC rerolls and they absolutely murder due to being on NC and having to be good.

I'm not asking for nerfs or buffs just wanna be able to transfer my certs over.

Yep, we know. Transferring certs would be nice. lol.

NC is like a boxer with two lead weights attached to his hands. While playing NC your ability to fight is difficult but still possible once you learn how. But remove the weights by changing faction, and you break faces.

Same here. When there's no NC left, maybe Higby can admit the balance is more than "slightly" off. But I don't care, I want my certs transferred over and I'll be happy.

BTW, have you noticed how crazy accurate hipfire is with Vanu? And that's WITHOUT laser attachment.

I would transfer my certs in a heart beat if I could. It isn't just that VS is better, it's also more fun to play when your weapons are accurate. You feel more in control of your weapon and your character. Less randomness is always better in my book.

yes, I have been asking for ages to be able ot delete FragKat on Briggs an redo him on Briggs on VS, cos I dislike the NC community. Not really careing about my Certs, but my $$ buyins I just cant afford to delete.

Yeah, I started a TR on MAttherson or w/e its called.

Spent 20$ and got the MCG, Rocket pods and the Rotary chain gun for it.

I straight maul with the MCG (wish the JH was half as good at clearing a room), the Mossy is way better than the Reaver. It doesn't tilt as much when dodging as the Reaver, has more rockets stock for pew pew and a smaller profile making it hard to hit and easy to get into tight places.

Also black and red are my favorite combo colors.

The Prowler is a totally sexy tank, the stock cannon doesn't suck either... With the VG you need to HEAT or the AP cannon to really do anything.

I like the NC, but the weapons are NOT balanced. If I could transfer certs I'd switch to VS or TR in a heartbeat, but leaving behind 4600 certs is not gonna happen.

Everyone had their own playing style, forget the Ps2 lore for a sec, and just find out your playing style (when someone first joins Ps2 i would recommend you play all 3 factions first)
but yeah i would agree, having transferable certs would be good. maybe you'd have to pay SC for it or they take away like 5% of the certs transferred? idk i just doubt the Devs would make it free

Yep, that was my take on it. Even if the NC weapons hit a little harder the VS weapons are more satisfying and reliable. TR too when I messed with them because the recoil is more predictable.

Just waiting for the multiple faction characters per account thing to happen so I can have a VS on Briggs.

I did the same thing for an hour over the weekend with a Vanu and the light assault weapon was ridiculous compared to the NC weapons. You can control the automatic fire much easier with those weapons. They might not hit as hard but that doesn't matter when they can put 3 into you for every 1 shot you land as NC.

The VS already breed like rabbits on soltech.

Actually I'd love cert transfers but only after they balance, right now we would see 70% of the NC and 40% of the TR go purple.

"DPS" only counts if you hit. The only NC thing that is stronger in power and real dps is the AI max which if anything needs a nerf but you don't swing balance on a max.

I did the same thing. It is insane the amount of difference between say the NC and Vanu weapons. TR are not all that bad either, but the Vanu are by far the best in game and make NC weapons seem like nerf toys.

Can't remember any other MMO letting you transfer level/stats etc when you make a new character, so can't see it's needed here either ...

Faction Change / Server Swap.

Game.

Set.

Match.

I've seen Vanu murder face with full auto at over twice the practical range an NC can. If an NC player tried to full auto at those ranges their entire platoon would slap him across the face for being a ******, and that makes for a massive DPS difference at range.

When you use real money - why not? Buying camo, weapons, and what not - just transfer the items back into SC and then transfer it over to a new character.
