How the hell does this keep happening? Do we really need character lockouts when the alert timer starts in for 2h 15m? It was almost dead even prior to the alert. Halfway through, 24% VS. Alert ends, it goes back to just about even. Alerts seem to be causing this, please build in a cancel function on alerts. If the population for one faction drops below 29%? Alert ends, no XP, no one gets a pony, everyone learns to stop the fourth faction awfulness.
A good solution would be when the alert starts, the game "record" what character you was with at the moment when during the entire alert, you cannot change it, even if you close the game and open it again, will be only available to log on in the game with that character you was with in the begining of the alert. Cheers from TR.
Nah, let them log in with whoever the heck they want to, but only give them alert EXP if they are on the same character when the alert ends as when it was announced (or at the first time they logged in while it was in progress)
It does not help that the most of the time quite a bit of NC cowards jump ship when an alert starts, f**king everyone over. Plus I have noticed that if the alert is not on indar their seems to be a high chance the NC and VS will ignore it (I can't blame them too considering what ends up happening). TR is unfortunately my main, less targets = less action which = less fun, so I have "sat out" and played my NC alt which is quite fun even if an ODAM platoon lands on the squad you were following.
VS had 32% world pop during the first 30 min of the alert. I watch populations closely because of two things: 1. People claiming they have absurdly low populations when in fact they do not 2. TR bragging in /yell every time they faceroll a base with 82% population and 46% world population. Shortly into the alert the VS 4th factioners went TR and spiked the TR population while dropping VS. NC population remained largely the same.
Let's see... Alert begins: Mattherson NC and TR go VS, Waterson NC and VS go TR. Conclusion: NC get's screwed.
