I remember this one time DVS did something I found to be very creative for a public platoon. It was a large scale stale mate battle on Esamir, the NC was defending but TR was getting more people involved and started gaining ground. DVS command told everyone to redeploy to and pull any kind of air vehicle, certed or not, come back and unload as much fire power as possible and spammed yell chat making the TR believed that the NC had reinforcement. I guessed in all that madness they had some people went sneaky and blew up TR Sundies. After that the TR zerg disintegrated and the NC went from defending to attacking the next base.

A NC player sucking the *** of their factions massive population questions the competence of his faction after the population has shifted?!?!? Not surprised.

    Nobody invited you. Get out.

But while you're here, take the time to notice the date on the first post was July 5, before Waterson population shifted - hence your post makes you look like a buffoon.

and when you play on TR everyone screams in proxy "why do TR sucks so much?!!111!" and on vs "why do VS sucks so much mlgyoloswag420360noscope!!!11!kdr!"
    /yawn.

    carry on.

If you look at the time of when I initially made this post, it was during a time when NC had almost even pop with TR on a consistent basis, so try again. Go belittle and troll elsewhere. I have questioned NC drive and abilities since day 1. Waterson NC have never been a consistent force.

From my perspective as commander of PHX, the NC are working just fine on some nights and not so good on others. That is to be expected. There are some good NC outfit leaders and some that have a lot to learn about how to lead their outfit and how to work with other outfits. There are also some trolls in command chat on Waterson NC and you know who you are (they have been known to frequent this forum as well).

A few basics when it comes to working with other outfits:

    1. Cooperation is voluntary. Each outfit can do what they want. Cooperation cannot be forced.
    2. Be polite and respectful. No one will listen to you if you are rude and abusive.
    3. Keep it brief. Don't abuse command chat. We don't want to listen to you yelling at your mother or eating cheetos.
    4. No one is in charge, including you and me.
    5. Ask for suggested targets, see if anyone needs help.
    6. Try not to duplicate effort. There is no point in DREV and PHX going to the same target most of the time.
    7. Be careful when pre-announcing targets, the enemy might be listening.
    8. Talk about where your outfit, squad or platoon is and what they are doing. You can only speak for yourself, not for others.
    9. Be specific in your communication, i.e. "VS squad hitting objective Charlie at the Crown, request assistance."
    10. Have fun! It's a game, remember? If you are not having fun, take a break, please don't inflict your pain on the rest of us.

That is all for now :D

Disclaimer: Yes, PHX (subsitute DREV or other large outfit) is a large, powerful, successful outfit but WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR GAMING EXPERIENCE, you are!

We have some skilled players. For sure. But, unfortunately, they can't make enough of a difference. There are just too many careless... clueless pugs running around out there. These dimwits would rather camp the wrong continent or ghost cap small bases because (boo-hoo) the mean ol' TR zerg is just too big and strong. (fap fap)

My outfit has plenty of solid players. Yet, few of them still play. They're either bored of PS2 or have gotten frustrated with the bugs and perceived imbalances (though I'm not one to call foul on the devs, the other factions do have some better stuff: ZOE, Striker, Marauder, Mossie etc. Still, this isn't something I QQ about. It's not why Waterson NC fail so frequently).

When my outfit isn't running a squad or platoon, I'll sometimes join another outfit's open team. This practically always leads to further disappointment. These 'toons tend to be far worse than the crappy half-pug toons that my own outfit typically runs. They clumsily attack big bases... ignore vital spawn points... fail miserably... and then return to the warp gate to load up and go ghost cap useless territory. This ALWAYS happens. Well, unless NC has the highest pop. In which case, everyone zergs and claims that we're baddasses.

I realize that I'm a rare breed: a hardcore Waterson NC. I'll always be disappointed by the average player. Many of them may have better PCs (mine is an ancient piece of crap) but so few will have as much dedication or experience as me (Sheet... I have more exp than DVSDelrith: the dude who won the first Auraxium Challenge and was first to make BR100 on the server). So, I think I just need to learn to sthu and accept the fact that I'm too much of a bloody try-hard. I need to lower my expectations... or transfer to a server where the NC don't fart around.

    ;)

Waterson NC is capable of improving. But, I think that will only happen when another server merger comes... or the devs give us some op weapons that we can use outside of biolabs. Stuff that's easy as pee for newer players to use. NC weapons can be great but, typically, they're not as forgiving.

Thanks for the shout. One of Waterson NC's main problems lies in manageability... there are usually too many people standing around that could be being useful.

I can't count the times I bring SET in to a cap and our 2 infiltrators hack everything at a base while everyone else runs around like chickens with their heads cut off. I don't have to tell my guys to put mines everywhere anymore! They just do it, and then we move on :)
