We began an Alert on Esamir with about 74% of the territory. This was about a couple minutes before it ended:
And you see that down in the corner, what is it? A BIOLAB!!!!! Even though everything around it was capped, it stayed under NC control. Which just brings up the discussion from this thread: http://forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/nc-waterson-get-out-the-biolabs.124330/ Its actually pretty crazy those biolab guys got some of that surrounding territory..... Anyways.... All of the Waterson Alerts end up the same way.. TR wins by at least 10 percent, NC usually just behind with vanu trailing. But this.. this was just sad....
So basically, the TR and the VS sandwiched the NC to the warpgate and barely fought each other because the NC started with the most territory, and in the process NC somehow maintained to maintain the second largest territory on the map plus a Bio Lab? Clearly, Waterson NC bad? Okay.
It's hilarious that the territories that the Zerg focuses on are the absolute worst ones to hold - those that seperate the TR and VS front. TR and VS couldn't hardly attack each other when we hold 3 territories down the middle like that.
It was 2 NC platoons vs. 1 enemy platoon Yesterday was the same thing and we ended up in a pathetic 3rd place loss....
I don't understand with NC. They had early pop advantage and 74% territories. Yet, the VS with the lowest cont pop(poor vanu) manage to warpgate you guys. lol.... just lol...
It was sad indeed. The worst part is that the VS warpgated us within like 15-20 minutes of the alert. We eventually managed to push them back a bit, but a little while later there they came again and we ended up in the same situation.
This was just plain sad. I finally succumbed to the draw of the bio-lab myself over the last 12 minutes or so, simply because everywhere else I tried to go was a freaking massacre due to zerg numbers vs. NC window licking numbers.
