Since the update yesterday the water (e.g. in Biolabs) doesn't render properly. It looks like if there's invisible (yes, invisible) vertical stripes that follow my FoV wherever I look, and the only way I notice them is that whenever I look towards a puddle of water the surface doesn't render behind these stripes. So what I'm trying to say is that the stripes of unrendered water aren't on the actual water surface but follow my FoV. Problem started occuring immediately after yesterdays update. [Edit] Are using a GTX 650 Ti and all settings on High (no tweaking in the .ini file).
Same here, using Ati Radeon HD 5870 and all settings on high. (I have 8 gb of RAM to "support" the game) [Edit] Checked on 3 servers, with settings changed between low and high, no chage.
I did test switching all the settings to Low, one at a time, and the stripes still remained. The only setting that did effect them was Render Quality. Lowering it from 100% to the lowest turned the stripe pattern into a grid of dots instead, but the water still didn't render behind those dots. And I also have 8 GB of RAM.
Seems like someone posted the same issue on Reddit. http://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/comments/1aa010/water_issue/ Here's a pic from that thread which show the "grid of dots" that the stripes change to when you lower the Render Quality.
