Was Buzzcutpsycho the best player to play planetside?

When are those going to be implemented. BCP argued for diversity in PS2. The Devs did not wish there to be diversity in this game. Buzz was all about diversity.

I don't know anything about BCP's personal life, but I do know he is able to drop 8-10K USD on a new computer. I love to be that unemployed too when he already has a new top of the line computer system.

I was being sarcastic.

I do, Call of Duty for instance, uses a lot of muscle memory and twitch shooting. Muscle Memory only happens in games when you play 10+ hours a day and are constantly fighting in the same areas. Both of these fit the criteria of BCP and the time he was playing PS2 since, nothing really has changed all that much.

Twitching shooting can be skill, but for the most part after watching him through a few videos, it was almost like he had done this before which is why I said muscle memory.

I'm basically saying that he's the equivalent skill level of a CoD pro player, which he's probably playing now. And they're skills are really zero because they only move in one direction(Forward/backward).

When he has to move another direction, usually during solo play, you can see he's average to decent at best.

Plus in that video earlier in the thread, it was obvious he liked to farm because he naturally started shooting the infantry over the Sunderer.

It's funny because SOE *did* put a lot of his awful suggestions in the game, and even a lot of non-Enclave forumites cheered them on.

And now the game is slowly choking to death on the restrictive zerglanes mentality Buzz inspired and Higby's shoving down its throat.

Well at least I got to make a bunch of pseudo-relgious statements about Daddy, I also think I did half descent job at adapting Joe Esposito's classic. GG GN everyone.

Name those awful suggestions and name suggestions Buzz made since you seem to think they are bad.

Implying you have to be poor to be unemployed. He could be living on a trust fund or was born with a silver spoon up his a** and already has a portfolio of shares that fund his entire existence courtesy of mummy and daddy. He was also sponsored by SOE, I'm sure they kept his hardware up to date for the sake of the game/marketing etc.

All I know is that I play this game way too much and for him to play this game as much as he did in the time frame he did its not possible that he was either living on less than 1 hour's sleep every night or doing less than 1 hours work every week.

I don't know anyone thats functioned for the best part of 12 months on less than an hours sleep every night so it leaves one option.

You realize where he works he can play PS2, right? He only worked weekends and played video games there. Also, he streamed 100% of the time outside of when he was at work, which was on Sat/Sunday.

Yeah, the half-***** attempts to monetize every suggestion he made. How about the time when they removed KDR? That was great, I remember that too!

Remember when they nerfed nanoweave and buffed standard infantry flak resistance? I remember it, too.

Remember when they nerfed shotguns and stopped making new weapons when the game was ridiculously over saturated with them? That was cool!

Oh, wait, I don't remember. Sadly, because it never happened.

There are dozens of suggestions that Buzz made that were horribly implemented on SOE's end or not at all. Only a simple minded person couldn't see that the ideas were designed to work off eachother, yet SOE never seemed to get that.

They got their priorities wrong from Alpha Test to Release. Everything Buzz suggested was compromised on, on SOE's end.

The fact that you're trying to shift the blame for the game's current state onto a PLAYER instead of the people who are professionals and are paid for this, is laughable. You gonna blame the rampant hackers on him, too? Ignoring the fact SOE has 10 GMs for all their games. I bet this latest patch was another one of Buzz's screw up ideas, too?

Enjoy your dying game while Battlefield 3 has nearly 10 times the numbers and is over a year older. The fact that PlanetSide 2 is in a state anybody would call "dying" when it has had ZERO competition is so laughably telling only someone so upset that they've wasted so much of their life playing this would suppress the idea that the game is simply not worth playing at all. Stockholm Syndrome, if you will.

It's a F2P game with modern shooter mechanics, yet it doesn't have the population to fill more than 3 servers concurrently. That's a great success if I've seen one.

Higby implemented most of it. And now, half a year later, the game has less than half the players it did when he made it.

Every other MMO developer on Earth: If you want to make a multi-faction war-ish PVP MMORPG, whatever you do, don't get the Planetside license for it. Your community will end up like this.

Dude you are completely lacking a brain the only difference there is to being in an outfit/squad/platoon is you follow orders than you do stuff; thing is i do that stuff without being told: blow up that gen yep im already on it, cap that point nah duhh im on it, flank the MAX and engy crowd and c4 them to clear the way for a biolab assault yep im the only one doing it and im not in an outfit when there are squads around me.

This game's always been full of stupid client-side BS and atrocious bugs. But the players who are now gone dealt with them, because we were (mostly) having fun anyway. Fun has been formally abolished.

Depends on the outfit... Anyway, I was more referring to leading within an outfit, passing your skills and advice on to others. Which is why I said the best player would be much more than just an infantryman.

Saying you're one of the best is a bold call, saying it while only being great at one aspect of the game makes it a foolish call.

You realize all those guys were banned day 1 in PS2. Skyexile even cheated on a different account. Those players were known bandwidth throttlers in PS1 and did the same thing day one in PS2. The only reason they were unbanned is they threatened SOE and they cried like no tomorrow to the "community" that they did no wrong. Everyone that cries wolf will eventually get whats coming to them.
