Hi everyone, so far I've been rocking the HV-45 with adv laser and NV scope and its a CQC beast. Any recommendations on a good mid-range gun though? I know most people would tell me to stick with the HV-45 since I'm usually running around in the front lines anyway. But sometimes when I'm raiding a base and the action is slow, I'd kinda like to hang back a bit and plink guys from a little further out. Post your mid-range recommendations and attachments please!

    CME or NS-11.

CME is the highest score per hour gun that the vanu empire has for the medic class. The key to enjoying it is throwing a compensator on it. Doubly so since the effect of compensators were magnified.

    Corvus, CME, NS11.

The Corvus is the best at long range, I think. At those ranges, horizontal recoil matters a lot. It's random, so you can't easily compensate for it, and at long range, it throws you off target a lot. The Corvus actually has very little horizontal recoil. 0.15 for a weapon firing on automatic is phenomenal. Throw a compensator and foregrip on it, and you have a very controllable weapon even on fully automatic at long range. Plus you have 0.03 first shot CoF, so you can very easily use single shots to down targets at extreme range.

I liked the CME more for a while, and it is quite accurate compared to most AR's. But after a while, the horizontal recoil just started to annoy me. Plus you've got a much wider first-shot CoF, so landing hits on targets at extreme range is more annoying.

Killing power is about the same, between the two. Corvus TTK is only about 0.02 seconds slower at point-blank range and 0.04 seconds slower at ranges beyond that.

Honestly, for the VS nowadays, if you're not fighting an extremely short range battle, the 167 weapons are the best. The Pulsar C is likely the most accurate Carbine for any faction, and the Corvus is likely the most accurate AR. And TTK's aren't that much longer than bullet hose weapons. You're typically talking TTK differences of less than one tenth of a second.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll definitely try these out in VR.
