    Speaking of ships..

    "Oh captain! My captain! Our fearful drop is done;
    The gal has weather'd all the flak, the base we sought is won;
    The checks are near, the screes I hear, the suits all exulting,
    While follow scopes the steady teal, the sundies fast and daring.."

    VCO, both lover and fighter. We break your heart and then we break your face! Hossin was battlefield of choice on this lovely Friday Official Ops evening. I wasn't a full lead this evening, missed the start of the lead meeting, but I did get to satisfy a bit of my taste for it playing second-lead in Bravo as well as our dedicated ground engie.

    The evening was spent mostly on the VS front, defending our front against a constantly encroaching enemy. The fights were awesome from my perspective, demonstrating what coordination can do. Hayad Skydock definitely won title of best fight for Bravo this evening, pushing through the enemy lines as they folded against our bullets and brawn. Alpha, tasked with re-securing the center of the arena, moved in as Bravo supported and continued to reclaim B-Point from our purple pantaloons. Myself, and my Max buddies, sustained for five minutes before finally being surrounded. Charlie moved in to destroy the sunderer with a bit of well-timed boom-boom and all of VCO cleared the base.

    I got to lead (sorta), we shook some heads, and I even ended with a positive K/D score of 1.2. A fun time all around, if I do say so myself. Speaking of, what do you think VCO does after we're done wrecking face? We get drunk and sing songs! :D The Karaoke Night edition of VCO Moments is now public! Shoutout to 4thwrldmrshl for leading VTA, VCO's training outfit. If you want to join VCO but are unsure of what we do and how we do it, message him and tag along for the VCO-lite experience- ripe with galaxy dropping!

    For anyone new to the game, or unsure about whether VCO would be a good fit for you, you can always join our alternate outfit, VTA (Voodoo Training Academy). As of right now, it's an instant join application on the outfit browser. Here, we will guide you through the mechanics of the game, give you experience with squad cohesive play, and help optimize your gameplay and gunfighting capabilities.

    We're doing this so our leads aren't burdened with having to keep tabs on a new player's whereabouts and actions, while also having to lead at a fast and demanding pace. We have an average br of 72, so we've been able to operate at a pace and skill ceiling that a lot of players may find hard to match at first. In VTA, you'll have a casual and less demanding atmosphere to hone your craft, level up, and learn the game before moving on to the main roster.

    VTA is meant for newer players to be nurtured in, whereas veteran players who join VCO will be placed on the main roster.

    We had a lot of fun tonight. Props to Helix for finding us the fun as always, and shoutout to the TIW guys who had their own squad alongside ours as we put fires out all over Esamir. We're getting better, VCO. Keep it up!

    Tuesday night, it might not be official Ops, but it's a damn good time to get to know the certified BAMFs of VCO. Hop on Teamspeak and join the party!

    VCO casual ops! Ran by yours truly! That's right, steppin up into the driver seat once more and it was quite a show. I started up a casual squad on Indar. Normally I would pick one thing to start working on but since I didn't know just how many would join, I decided to simply label it "finding a good fight". And find some we did! I soon had a 12-man team of murder and freedom and we struck at both the TR and VS with equal disregard for the human body.

    The highlight came, from my perspective, at the VS controlled T.I. Alloys. My squad and I gal dropped on the roof and snuck in behind the enemy line to prep the base, but a back-cap at The Crown prevented our efforts. Not being one to stand still, I ordered a very quick gal drop to resecure the last point at the crown and whip us back to Alloys to begin the fight anew. The NC armour parked outside the base provided a nice distraction, but to little avail as it seemed like just me and my boys were the only ones in the point building itself. However, it was the first time I made proper use of fireteams; covering small stairs on both ground and top level as it was their most convenient point of entry beyond the front doors barricaded by blue and yellow tanks! Or... it would had been. It turns out we really were the only ones in there as what blueberry forces I thought were watching the back doors vanished and we faced opponents in the point room proper. Roughly half a squad or so, they stood little chance against us. VCO battled against another squads worth of enemies, the only orders I could give being 'keep your heads on a swivel and keep moving inside this room'. The VS knocked their way back in and we had to fall back. But it was a hell of a fight!

    Afterwards we decided to try to start a fight ourselves, taking Snake Ravine from the TR. We came pretty close too, the TR finally resulting to Gal drop us out as we did our best to hold the top of the structure. It wasn't a total loss though, as it made almost perfect timing to start Dice Ops!

    Man, I hadn't heard of Dice Ops before tonight, but it was super fun! The games master rolls and checks against a challenge tree. We had 7-minute rounds of "shotguns only and must reload after every shot", "iron sights only", "must use mobile spawn points", "all medic/heavies/maxes/bot-action snipers", and everyone's personal fave; "suicide bomber academy: only C4 Flashes allowed". What's best, I was able to record it too! Expect the next VCO Moments soon. :p

    VCO, whatcha gonna do next? I dunno? Ops on the moon?

    Catch us tomorrow at 8:00PM EST for official ops!

    Y'all get ready, it's WEDNESDAY OPS BABY!

    VCO Official ops! VCO rockem' sockem' robots! Our ops proved to be a challenge on a different level. There was no one to fight! VCO hopped continents twice, assailed based, defended based, roamed around the countryside and found itself a lone swordsman after the battle fought. He does not return home, he knows there's nothing for him there. Instead, he walks to where the masses convene as it is always people who cause the conflict that give him purpose... I other words we tried to start some fights but it kinda didn't happen. :p

    I rolled in Alpha and there was one fight that I did enjoy, in fact it was one of the last ones of the evening. Briggs Laboratory found itself with a large infestation of red tank-like objects and it was left to VCO to clear em out. After a resecure of the base proper, rather uneventful in itself, Alpha squad pushed the far northern flank up and across the hills to eradicate the TR assets pilled there. At least one-and-a-half squads of vehicles and a full platoon were blind-sided by rockets, grenades and classic American rock & roll as we punched through. The TR decided they weren't done, sending in air and more tanks to attempt recovering their old positioned. They did not. VCO stood its ground and the mechanized menace fell on what we can only hope was puddles of motor oil. TR sundies and the tanks who decided not to push up with there brethren lied in wait across the horizon, guarding Mao Southwest Gate. VCO met their challenge, having Alpha push further North to flank the retreat as the rest of the platoon moved in from the east. Any enemy who didn't turn for Southwest Gate were cut off and destroyed. Those TR who live? They had to watch. :p

    VCO's next official ops will be Friday at 9PM EST. We have a new TS Server too! No more static for us! :p Come check us out!

    VCO official ops! You know, they say that calm seas make poor sailors. The changes to the best outfit on Emerald's NC front has left good ol' HatsuneMiki with some decisions to make, but more on that once the dust settles. Today's rough seas, a huge pop swing everywhere we turned during this evening's Amerish blitz. VCO? We rise to the occasion, and found a hell of a fight worth our effort!

    The highlight for Bravo, the fine ladies and gents I happened to be rolling with this evening, had top be the siege of West Pass Watchtower. Bravo was assigned the capture and maintenance of B-Point, which we attained with extreme prejudice. From there, order came to assist the Alpha in securing a foothold into the tower. The TR resistance pushed us out, but their weight on us cleared an opening for Charlie to secure C-Point. Bravo moved across the base to assist after ensuring B-Point's safety with the help of rockets and higher ground. The TR spawned a stream of sunderers and tanks to break our hold of the last two points of their three-point base. Bravo moved in, along with the entire platoon, to blow up, smash and crash every single one of them. As the last piece of mechanized oppression fell, Alpha and Bravo moved to claim the last of the points. I gotta say, I no longer need proof of my own improvement as a soldier. I witnessed countless deaths of both enemy and fellow VCO as we held A-Point, grenades dropped upon a defense two squads thick. I stayed alive longest, or the longest that I saw, by knowing where to move and when to use my med packs. I am getting better, huzza! :D

    A-point secure, HatsuneMiki with a +2 k/d ratio, and VCO tags on a well-earned base. All was good.... annnnd then we went to a failed Biolab siege and K/D dropped to its usual 0.7ish. Can't win 'em all, I guess. :p

    VCO, good things happen. We rise to whatever the TR and VS throw at us. DA? BWC? We don't care who we fight, we can take you all on. And will. And do (also, props to you guys for being a worthy fight! Thx guys :p ) Does your outfit back down? If so, consider joining us.

    Check us next official ops, Sunday 8PM EST.
