VCO Casual Squad? VCO Filming Day! I began filming the first in a series of training videos today and this project is finally lookin like it'll get completed in this lifetime. (yeah, more than a few production hiccups of varying nature )

I'm workin ona few projects, but I'm seriously lookin forward to the next one (woooooaaaahhhh foreshadowing). One of them is filming little moments that I run into while playing with the best team in NC. Here's the first installment of what will hopefully be many to come:

Over 200 players...sounds very, very tight nit indeed. Regardless, VCO feeds my hungry Cert Monster quite well, so I really can't complain.

Easy to talk when you've never run with VCO for official ops. Voodoo Company's community more than speaks for itself. The community donated over $300 for the commissioned artwork by Hokunin, helped VCO member JakeTheGameSnake raise over $1,000 for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), recently had a small VCO meetup at a renaissance faire in PA, and we routinely hold competitions and giveaways for SOE Station Cash or Steam Cards. That sounds pretty tight-knit to me.

So yeah, you're going to kill a few VCO players on the battlefield, because like you said, there's over 200 of us. Some players might run around casually during the mid-day when no senior leads are on, but during VCO's official op hours, Voodoo Company is among the most cohesive and efficient outfits in play for the Emerald NC. There's a reason we capture hexes at 50/50 pop, and can stand up for ourselves against some of the server's best outfits and players. We do it mostly through teamwork, and depending on each other to hold the lines. Again, that's pretty tight-knit imo.

Most of VCO isn't ready for elite-infantry play yet. For that you want BAX or TIW. But we're slowly working our way up there, showing new players from scratch how to adjust their settings for better FPS and mouse sensitivity, and teaching them how to make smart and tactical decisions when on the battlefield. Anyone that knows this Outfit knows that today it is vastly different from what it was in May, and completely different from what it was late last year. In 8 months VCO went from the largest NC Outfit on Mattherson into the #1 ranked Outfit with 192+ on Emerald. You're a fool to doubt what we could do with another 4.

Still bouncing on whether or not ops will be on tonight with the ss meeting at 8.

I've played since beta, ran with multiple outfits on multiple servers and VCO has some of the most dedicated leadership I've seen. I've had an absolute blast with these guys and I'd highly suggest checking them out.

VCO rises to the challenge once more! Amerish was warpgated at the start of this Wednesday evening's official ops. VCO? Unphased and actually thrilled at the prospect of taking back an entire continent... we didn't actually do that as ops runs only for two hours and it would be boring to ghost cap an entire continent.

I rolled with Charlie squad as one of two squad medics. Lots of certs to gain, lots of plays to make. If you ever needed an example of why Flak Armour is needed on a squad medic, look no further than our assault at Granite Valley Garrison. A swear I was tanking rockets to the... well, a headshot would had killed me but it felt like tanking it to the face. At one point I witnessed three soldiers who clearly were not wearing Flak Armour go down right beside me. Luckily I was a medic and could pick them back up.

VCO squads actually include medics who medic things! Gotta say, leagues better than what most other pub squads can offer. Try us out if you're looking for an outfit who understands what "squad composition" is!
