Here is my trial of the Comet VM2 I am very new to using MAXes but it seems to me that 250 certs for this weapon is well worth it. I have heard that they are planning on nerfing this against infanrty Does anyone know?
Nice video Matti! Yeah, the dual comets are well worth the 250 certs for the additional Comet. Its very different across the other two empire's though. The dual Falcons for the NC are barely worth it since they were turned into Rocket launchers with less range and velocity. The double pounders are.. uhm.. I only ever Trialed the second pounder and it's quite possibly the only weapon I NEVER want to use again. You should try them, both the falcons and the second pounder. You know, to make a comparison of their effectivness when considering their respective cost. Hmmm.. im 90% sure I heard that all MAX AV weapons are gonna be nerfed against infantry. Which kind of sucks, since it already takes quite a few hits to kill them. Hope we'll see a few more infantry videos, keep up the good work Matti!
The Comets are balanced in the regard that they require a decent aim to actually kill stuff. For 90% of the infantry situations it's going to be better to pick Nebulas etc. With Fractures around, I don't think Comets are any OP in comparison.
