Very nice, I'm trying to get back into the Saw, one second I'm doing awesome and the next...yeah.

Though I'll say this if you want a gun that forces you to learn how to shoot properly it's the Saw, do or die.

Every time I try to record I get hitches like crazy :(

Anyway, mine would be far less impressive. My lifetime accuracy with the SAW is a horrible 18% because I'm a FIRM believer in taking every shot no matter what :D The trick with any gun is to use it a lot so that its recoil becomes second nature and you'll jump up to 25-30% accuracy before you realize it. In the SAW's case, you should also try to stick to 6-8 round bursts, as those first 5-6 shots are the most accuracy 5-6 shots of a full auto in the game

For you personally though, I would STRONGLY recommend you give the GD-22S a whirl. That's probably my favorite non-SAW LMG in the game right now

Pretty much this. There's no gun that handles like the SAW, there's only The SAW. Not even the Reaper and X11 really compare that well to it in that regard.

I always tell people to always ADS no matter what, burst 6-8 rounds at a time, DO NOT MOVE, and that you need to adapt to the gun - not the other way around.

At 1:38 looked like the COF started out maxed out. Seen this happen from time to time on other weapons in a building drawing a pattern around people. or a shotgun shooting almost a perfect circle with no pellets in side.

This may indeed be the hit detection issue or one of them creeping up and without a wall or video to see the pattern we assume the bullets went near the dot.
  6. hostilechild

Guessing they changed this then, as in the past you could hipfire, swap to ADS and the cof would reset to ads start, drop out and cof reset to hipfire start.
With bad cof hipfire guns this was the only option (like the saw/em6) to not give up a lot to TR/VS in cqc.
I haven't used in a long time as i am now on auraxium the cqc-mid guns and never really have to ADS to hit something inside 10m with them.

Saw and EM6 also have horrible cof while strafing, if you can position and stand still there beasts in comparison to strafing with them..

Poor VS. When will we get a real machine gun :(
  8. jiggu

Well I'd say the SAW is closer to an automatic battle rifle rather than a "real" machine gun.

I love weapons like these. You have to tame them but then you get to ride the glory.

Why is it everyone with yellow camo on their weapon seems to be like invisible? I saw several moments in the video (including right in the start) where people simply looked directly at you and kept going on about their business even with your shield up, What is this ninja magic and how do I acquire it!
  11. Moz

Nah its an out and out LMG, pretty damn close to a future Ares Shrike, note the smaller 5.56mm round. A battlerifle would fire a larger 7.62mm round.

Inaccuracy/camera shake from bullets that do not land effect the SAW (And the other slow firing 200 dmg automatics) FAR worse than any other automatic weapons due to their nature. I feel this should be in some way or another remedied.
Personally, I feel the battle hardened implant should entirely remove inaccuracy and camera shake on small arms if the bullet(s) doesn't hit you.

It's mitigation is quite pathetic in it's current form.
I say make it far more effective, even at the cost of making "Battle Hardened" a tier 2 implant.
  13. Unclematos7

This isn't bad hit detection. It's godawful cone of fire bloom.
  14. Epic High Five

The COF bloom on that part was due to firing before going into ADS, meaning he was working with the hipfire COF and not the ADS one.

For good examples of how the ADS COF is actually quite excellent and laser accurate, please reference the rest of the video

2:23 I love those moments when you full auto someone down, try to switch to the next target, realize you COF is maxed out after wasting bullets and just wait a second...before letting go again with full auto.
