Vanu and Slugs - the Nerf Wasn't Worth It!

    I am NC and I agree with OP. The reason is "no bullet drop-lower velocity" is worse deal than "bullet drop-higher velocity" in my opinion. Why? Because you can adjust for bullet drop, you can learn it and it won't affect your gameplay much (in short: can be overcome by skill) while you cannot do anything with lower velocity, the bullet is just slower and even with skill as high as the bullet-drop sluggun user you are at a disadvantage. Any time your enemy moves the bullet drop is preferred to slower velocity. And all the good players move all the time in this game... You cannot overcome slower bullets with skill as much as bullet drop.

    And now you have both slower bullet velocity AND drop? That's just wrong... (If it uses same calculation for drop as NC/TR slugguns, you may actually have MORE drop due to slower bullets. Needs testing.)
