Assuming that somebody has enough certs to fully cert any one of the Valkyrie weapons, which ones would you invest in and why? (Please refrain from answering with none or Valkyrie is crap comments) Choices are: Wyvern The M20 Wyvern has superior RPM and faster reload compared to other M20 heavy machine guns but at the cost of a smaller magazine. Like other M20 HMGs, its 20mm rounds are capable of damaging all targets.CAS-14E The CAS 14-E is designed to provide close air support using its 14mm explosive rounds and high magazine capacity to effectively eliminate hostile personnel. Hellion G20 The Hellion G20 chain gun fires special armor piercing 20mm rounds that are effective against vehicles at close range. It takes 1.5 seconds for the G20 to spool up and reach full firing speed. Pelter Rocket Pod The Pelter rocket pod is able to quickly unload its magazine of 8 unguided rockets which are effective when striking armored targets but have little explosive yield. VLG Missile Launcher The VLG Missile Launcher fires a laser guided missile that seeks toward the gunner's crosshairs. The missile is effective against armor on direct hits and produces a moderate blast. Missile will detonate after traveling 400 meters.
well i can tell you that as a Vanu you don't Need the CAS14E. it's a downgrade to the Lasher (which is in itself an accomplishment)
Hellion actually gives you the ability to 1v1 ESFs , even the Wyven. The VLG is downright bad... it's basically 1 hornet missile with even less damage. Pelter is not recommended it's basically half a hellfire mossie lolpod. Me and my wingman are trying HARD to make use of the CAS-14E using it like a fury to farm infantry but with no use, maybe 4-7 kills before eating some rockets and gtfoing to Nirvana.
The CAS and Pelter are absolute trash. Don't even bother with them. The Hellion and Wyvern are fun to use and can be effective against vehicles. They're not great but they're definitely workable. The VLG is only useful for hovering over vehicle and spamming them to death. Stock it has terrible damage output, but maxed out it beats Hornets.
Wyvern is fine as AA gun , can finish a smoking hard tank if needed. Helion is ok at killing ground vehicules, libs and galaxy. That's all, everything else is really trash
