[Suggestion] Utility Item for Light Assault - Second Wind Stick

    TL;DR
    -One use
-revives light assault by either teammate or can self revive with a kill
-limited to secondary and no ADS
-takes the slot that C4 resides in

The premise of this utility is to provide an attractive alternative to C4 without getting too outlandish or cloning an existing Item. The idea behind the "Second-Wind Stick" (Need a better name) is to solve the above stated problem of there being to real advantage to not having C4 and the problem of Light Assaults dying out of reach of Medics. The weapon is single use, so don't worry about LAs constantly popping back up.

The utility changes what happens when you lose all of your health. Instead of dying, you fall onto the ground with only 1 hp left and no shield regeneration. You cannot ADS and are restricted to only your secondary. You have 10 seconds to revive yourself in one of the following ways:
-A friendly comes up and holds the use key on you for a few seconds (stops the 10 seconds timer and gives them revive xp. Any class except MAX can do this). You are revived with 250 health and no shields.
-You manage to kill an enemy with your secondary or knife whilst you are down on the ground. You get revived with 1 health and no shields.

Certing this increases amount of time that you can be "down" from 10 seconds to 20 seconds (4 levels, 10/13.3/16.7/20). This will be LA exclusive as the rest of the classes will likely have medic support. While in the downed state you cannot:
    -switch to a Primary
    -switch to a tertiary weapon
    -use ADS
    -regen shields
    -place a squad beacon

Below I have some other ideas that can be thrown in (they are not in by default). The idea is still raw, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to flesh it out a bit first. Thank you for reading!

Alternatives (pick and choose. These are just more ideas and features that I thought of):
    -Does allow primary while down
    -Does allow ADS while down
-revives with full health (pick a situation)
-can only be revived by killing an enemy
-can only be revived by a teammate
-enemy can revive you (o_O why?)
-can use this on other team mates
-can equip more than one of these
-Is equipped in the suit slot instead of the Utility slot
-Is an implant (o_O Not a fan of this but it is an idea)

Works in a surprisingly similar way. The original idea came from the Pistol Messiah Ability from Payday 2. You go down, but can get yourself back up. Its limited and can only be used so many times. It would play out pretty close though. A delay between being going down and being able to shoot back wouldn't be too bad of an idea now that I think of it.

    So... borderlands?

*posting more to not sound so rude*

Sounds like you put some thought into this, but I have some issues.

You say you get revived by either killing an enemy or a friendly coming to your aid [any class].

So situation 1: You are in the enemy tower. Likely no friendly medics. But lots of enemies. Chance to rez on kill. Rezzed with 1 health.

Situation 2: Random building top. You die while edging over the side. May have a chance to hit an enemy. May have chance of friendly LA to come revive. Rezzed with 250 health.

Situation 3: Some reason you're on the ground. Good chance of enemies around, just as likely chance of friendly medic or rather any kind of friendly. Would say less chance to kill enemy unless friendlies set it up for you to rez-kill. Get revived by medic, rezzed with minimum 300 health, insta shield regen.

Self revive when you kill someone doesn't sound like a good idea/something that fits in PS2 imo.

Doesn't sound like it fits any game but it works.

I like the general idea of one-shot (self)revival for LA-only but the borderland-esque mechanics OP is suggesting does not suit more harder sci-fi(compared to borderlands anyway) style of PS2 and it's more realistic gameplay. Not to mention that it will not be all that useful in most cases as as soon as players will become aware of this LA's ability, they will simply spend extra half a second to put a bullet or two into a downed LA to make sure he will not raise back to life.

Here's what I think will be a better and more teamplay-oriented implementation of LA-specific revival mechanics. LA-specific "Portable Nano-Revival Tool", a disposable tool that provides an equivalent of medic's revival with some key differences:

    * To revive a teammate(not necessary an LA), you equip the revival tool, point your reticle at a fallen teammate you want to revive and activate it using primary attack. The tool is then dropped to the ground and begins the revival process which takes 2-3 times longer than the medic's revival time. During that time, alive player who activated the revival is free to do whatever he pleases but the player being revived is not only highlighted by a "revival glow" but also vulnerable. That means if he takes any damage during the revival process, revival fails, tool is wasted and the player stays dead. When revived, player will have 10%(up to 50% with certs, see below) of his health and no shield.

    * Self-revival will be automatic as long as LA has this tool in his tool slot. When killed, for all intents and purposes LA is "normally dead", except that he has an additional "use revival tool" button on his respawn screen. If pressed, it initiates the revival process, similar to the described above(2-3 times longer that medic's revival, glow, any damage stops the revival and destroys the tool). If before player activates his tool he is revived by a medic or another player with a revival tool, his tool remains intact and still useable. And as player pick the time to start the revival himself, he has better chances of living through it as he is free to wait until the surroundings will be clear from enemies.

Possible certifications: shorter revival time, more health on revival(up to 50%), teammate revival requiring half a charge(still requiring full charge for self-revival).
