Unable to download SocketError:Host Not Found (11001)

im getting this error (i did everything from changing my proxy settings to making firewall exceptions) Unable to download SocketError:Host Not Found (11001) - http://pls.patch.station.sony.com/p...e2.sha.zs/d6/dd3/9fb57f9abb8594060c369a092e8e

1. Select Internet Options
2. Select Connections
3. Click LAN Settings
4. Proxyserver - Advanced
5. Use same proxyserver.

I deleted the wrong file (i think it was Launchpad.libs or somthing) and now my launcher wont even open please help

uhm whenever i go to the proxyserver area its all like blocked out and i cant click any of it

Okay i have a friend with the same problem and the proxy stuff DOES NOT WORK for her and we have tried every other option there was on here to try and fix it. we have no idea what to do

I just had this problem, removed the cache folder did not help.
Run this in windows command prompt in admin mode:
ipconfig /flushdns
Than restart PS2 and it worked.
