Can we get a bit of clarification on this please?

Do faction versions of a particular camo count count towards the six required?

Example: i purchased the VS and TR version of the ES Holiday Jumper. Will that count as one or two 'holiday camos'?

Also...any chance of seeing the bonus camo?

I got an email from SOE pointing to some kind of social media post by Drexlla.

Is SOE a bunch of dense morons? They just decided to reduce the camo coverage for one faction and plan on doing the same for the other two factions. WHO is going to buy camo that will be nerfed essentially within the next patch or so? Are they noticing less people buying camo because they are actively making these camo options less viable and useful? If you increase coverage for all factions people might want to pay money for these things but they are turning into nothing but glorified trim on our characters. It was bad enough that all the factions and most of the camo options in game make us all look like freaking neon space clowns.

They should realy change the name of 'camo' it should be called 'costume' or 'clothing'. This would stop the confusion between what it is supposed to be, a cosmetic item that doesnt improve on your survivability, since that would be pay to win.
This is why there is concern over camos such as the giraffe, it gives players a 'paid for' advantage over their oponents.
Of course after a while you get to know the enemy look and no camo makes a difference anyway.

I love how whenever there is a SOE sale, theres a boatload of threads that pop up because the information being delivered doesn't seem to be delivered correctly.

SOE Marketing: Figure it out yourself, we cant be bothered.

Feels like lots of small things like this adds up and may be the reason why SOE games are pretty good, but still slowly die off.
Im sure the details of this "promotion/sale" is buried in a twitter/reddit/facebook post somewhere, and is labled as "great communication with the playerbase"
Meanwhile, the readily available launcher news and ingame store news just sits there.

Its a shame, because had i known about it, i probably would have bought 6 of the camos while they were 50% off.

What that means is you'll need to make 6 individual purchases.

How much to turn off all these Christmas camos so I don't have to look at them?

It has to be camos which are part of the holiday promotion.

So.... What was the camo?...

That or they could either
A: Undo the change altogether as camo never made a difference if you used your eyes
B: Only apply this change to the universal camos (I.E: Buying it unlocks it on all characters, so not camos like shatter that are still technically faction specific), so faction specific and otherwise bright and obvious colors are not killed and everyone is happy.
