Truth-telling: What do you do when ally and enemy are both in your line of fire?

The ally dies, and the enemy's aimbot targets me and I die. Interesting fact: step in front of the ally and the enemy's aim bot switches to you instead of the barely alive ally, if they keep clicking it..., you see this in most of the videos posted.

if they look like they are in a firefight and is of lil threat to me and they were fighting when i got there i will wait. if the bullets are coming my way from the enemy i will cut them both down and rez the ally. sorry i don't know you or how good you are i know how good i am and i will win. if you walk in front of me while I am already shooting, i will cut you in half and not rez you.

keep shooting. Too many times i waited for friendly to get out of sight only for him to die and then me being jumped by his foe or someone else because their dance was taking time.

I was playing CS:GO last night, Competitive, on Nuke.

We were on T side, pushing Ramp, and I had a Scout. I see a guy back behind the box at the back side of the room, his head is moving right to left, so I guess he's going to peek the left corner. I sit up in my own spot, and as soon as I see his arm moving, I quick-scope and pop a shot off at his head.

Except, my teammate (and the guy I play PS2 with), is rushing past me into the room. My shot goes through his chest, and hits the enemy in the head. lol

That's the short version of whether I shoot or not. Only in PS2, my bullets don't go through them, and I have even less hesitation as I pull the trigger. haha

Depends on the situation.

If I come around a corner, ADS, and notice there's a friendly too close to my sights, I'll usually abort and seek cover.
If I'm firing and someone steps in front of me, I'm not going to stop firing.

And I mostly use shotguns, so if you step in front of me, and I clip you with a round, its going to HURT and I will have no sympathy for you what so ever.

And before people ask, I won't walk in front of an ally who's firing, unless I know the damage he'll do whilst I'm in his sights won't kill my shields. In those situations I accept they're going to damage me, and if they kill me then I accept it was MY fault because it was MY judgement that screwed me over and not the fact they didn't hold fire.

Depends, If my teammate is about to die anyway -- Then I kill steal my enemy with a TK and take down the enemy while he reloads.

I would expect the same from my comrades. But I run with an outfit and medics that know how to stay out of a firefight and rez me.


Otherwise I hold fire and see how it turns out.

I'm guilty of not caring and usually kill both, but I try my best to revive them afterwards.

when i sit in my mana ai turret, i often try to suppress a door, aiming for the head, is it my fault, when a friend cross my fireline, while i am shooting, and cant release the button, before i kill them?
anyway, sometimes i say sorry.

PS: always love this situation:
you set your turrets *10 seconds infront of a doorway, awaiting an attack.
Suppressing ennemys comming throgh the door for 10 seconds
Frindly havy arrive.
He stands in the corner for 5 seconds.

suprise he dies

If they jump into my line of fire like an idiot, they're gonna die either way. The enemy shoots him and then mows me down, or I shoot him and mow down the enemy.

If you are emerald NC you get what i mean.

I try desperately aim the enemy, now because he can kill me and my ally. I hold fire only when I haven't any gap to fight.

Kill em all, let the server sort them out.

I tend to let off if someone walks in front. Apparently I'm a nice guy - fooled me.

Got me killed yesterday. Enemy popped into view right as a friendly tried to sprint across. Friendly stopped right in the middle of both our line-of-fire to engage and I let off the trigger, causing me to break my aim and fall to a couple bullets disadvantage.

Mow 'em down, within reason.
